How many mosques are there in Qatar?
Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.
Many international hotels in Doha do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.
Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

The property feels fresh & new, I stayed in one of the standard rooms which was spacious & well laid out.
Location of the hotel is so good in mushraib smart city, specially for new residents like me, Corniche, Souq waqif is next to hotel.
Hospitality of the staff is more than excellent, I found everybody in the staff instrumental for our comfortable stay even in today’s challenging covid times.
Loved the luxurious ambience from the lobby all the way to the rooms, feels like home quiet and serene which makes you feel like your new getaway home.
The breakfast was great and very tasty loved the omelette with hash brown and sausages and the rooms had a nice nespresso coffee machine which you don’t normally find in other rooms. Well balanced led dimmed lighting along with double insulated windows makes the room very quiet.
The Led TV is 55 inches and they even provided a BOSE Bluetooth sound bar for your favorite music experience.
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking for a family staycation or a friends staycation for long weekend.

This is probably one of the top hotels, I’ve ever had the pleasure to stay! The rooms are brilliant, the view from my room was great, the choice of restaurants excellent! From the moment you book in, the personnel are friendly and greet you with a smile. The facilities and amenities on offer, means that you will never be bored. From a massive sparkling clean pool, to squash and tennis courts, large gym, specialized dance classes offered, spa, a vast range of bars and a massive dance club, all and all, a very nice stay!
The one thing that was a bit of a bother was the breakfast is the same every morning (good, but very repetitive) and after a week, I had tried every single combination possible, so a little bit of variety would be nice. Just remember Muslim country, so zero pork, or bacon.
The service in this hotel was outstanding from the moment we arrived until we left. The food and service in the Chingari Indian restaurant was amongst the best we have ever experienced.
Alcohol is quite expensive but Jimmies is the bar to go to earlier in the day and the sports bar on the first floor is the place to go after 5.00 with special discount rates as well. The pool loses the sun quite early due to the high rise buildings around it.

Bedroom: I stayed on the 10th floor in a large clean, tidy room with two king-size beds.
The air-con works so well that I often didn’t need it on all the time! Room comes with standard amenities and in addition; room slippers, bath robe, Nespresso coffee machine (they had me sold on great coffee in my room!), a cordless phone in addition to another phone on the other side of the room!!
Most channels are Arabic, I think they had Disney channel and Fox movies. In addition BBC news and other news channels also.
Very comfortable beds with great pillows.
Bathroom: Lovely large bath and separate shower. The bath is pretty impressive!
Room service: Ordered food almost everyday. It was always presented very well and arrived within 30 minutes. I would highly recommend the lasagne, I liked the Caesar salad with grilled chicken also, until I found out the cheese was imported from Italy hence not halal.
Restaurants: Market: Breakfast is also served at the Market. I liked this place, the staffs were very pleasant and the quality of the food was very good. They do the nicest sushi!
Wahm bar: A great place to unwind whether you drink alcohol or don’t. They have a nice outdoor space where you can chill out by the pool.
Hotel taxi: Great Limo service. But if you wish not to spend 130 QAR on a taxi ride that can cost you 30 QAR than you can easily get Karwa outside the hotel.
Amazing food! Good atmosphere suitable for locals and expatriates as well as for muslims and non muslims ! All signature dishes were amazing as well as Ramadan specialty dishes! Love to spend the time at W!
The restaurants in the W are in general very good, with a few different options available. Yes the cost of meal in any of the restaurants is expensive, but your getting what you pay for, and the environment your in.
Are the restaurants in the hotel the best in Qatar, probably not, and neither are they the cheapest, but they are good.

We loved this place and is the best luxury hotel in Qatar. Right from the entrance to the rooms, swimming pool, private beach everything is luxury and grand at MMK. It is best place to take ur family. The rooms was very spacious/ luxurious and can easily accommodate a family of four. They had activities for kids like cake making which they enjoyed a lot. Swimming pool was well maintained and clean. Pool is always manned by lifeguards for our safety.
One of the cleanest private beach at MMK. Breakfast was very good and its ambience was picture perfect. All the staffs at the hotel was very friendly and their warm hospitality requires a special mention.
The chefs are always there to make our culinary experience unique. The waitresses are very friendly and of great help and hospitality. The food and table service are of high quality and honestly more than expected from a 5-start hotel compared to other ones in town. I’m a regular visitor to various restaurants of the hotel mainly to the Spanish El Faro restaurant (special thanks to Karim for his consistent quality service and hospitality) and Sawa for its amazing Brunch that we enjoy with the whole family and the same quality of food and service is kept each time.
The kids enjoy playing and having various fun activities while enjoying delights on the pool area and in front of the beach. Variety of cuisines are proposed (Asian, Indian, Italian, International and Arabic) in addition to various stands including Shawarma bar, Sushi bar, etc.
