Halal Hotels Fiji

There are about 60,000 Muslims in Fiji.

By Crescent Rating, Fiji is 70th rated among most Muslim-friendly countries.

How many mosques are there in New Fiji?

Every major town in Fiji has a mosque, majority of which are managed by the Fiji Muslim League.

Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.

Many international hotels in Fiji do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.

Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

It is 100 m from the Fiji Museum and 3 minutes’ walk from the Presidential Palace. Nausori Airport is 30 minutes’ drive away.

In an elegant 1914 building and a modern annex, this upscale hotel on the oceanfront is 13 minutes’ walk from the Fiji Museum and a 4-minute walk from Thurston Gardens.

Polished rooms have flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, and balconies or verandas with park, pool or harbor views. Suites add airy living rooms and whirlpool tubs. Upgraded rooms offer access to an elegant lounge serving a breakfast buffet and cocktails. Room service is offered 24/7.

There’s a fine-dining restaurant and an open-air eatery with harbor views, plus a cozy bar and a bakery. An outdoor pool is flanked by a bar and sunloungers. Amenities also include a spa, saunas and a gym.

The hotel boasts four style of spacious guest rooms and eight styles of extraordinary suites, including six one-of-a kind, that offer opulence and epicurean delight to suit desired tastes. Conceived with both vision and purpose to deliver impeccable service.

Ocean view is worth the extra money. Breakfast buffet good selections with halal chicken and lamb.

One downfall they need more tabasco available or capsicum for those who like spice on their eggs. Chilli Crab is large enough to share and highly recommended at dinner.

The GPH is a grand old Dame. Her beautiful architectural features are balanced with modern lines and comfort. The staff are warm and friendly and youre greeted with a smile the moment you arrive. The small terrace on our ground floor room overlooked the garden and pool area and we easily wandered to the waters edge to take in the sunset. Take the option to include breakfast in your package. The buffet is well presented and its lovely sitting on the outdoor terrace in the morning. Basic coffee is included but there is an additional charge for anything other else. The room was large and the bathroom spacious.

The shower pressure was wonderful. The bed was a king and while comfortable was clearly a little on the old side with the springs non existent on the bottom corner of the bed – which didn’t impact our ability to sleep – and we did sleep well here.

Would love to have stayed longer and hope one day to enjoy the hospitality of the GPH again in the future. The entire complex has a lovely feel to it and allows you to forget your troubles the moment you step inside.

The room is big, clean and really comfortable. The wifi is strong as well and the Thai restaurant at the hotel served really nice Thai food. There is also a Bula Bus (not free) which will bring people to the Marina for shopping and dining as well.

. Most of the staff I have encountered are friendly, warm and helpful. I had dinner from the Thai restaurant on one evening and the food was lovely.

It was also a short drive away from Port Denarau Marina where there are numerous shopping and dining option. If you don’t drive then there is the Bula bus which is both affordable and comes by the hotel regularly.

This hotel really is great! Friendly staff great location. I can literally write a book about this one. It is located on wailoaloa beach in nadi a short drive from the airport. It is about 10 mins away from the main nadi town as well. The rooms were all clean washrooms were clean. Washer dryer dishwasher stove pots pans the works. This room has everything. Patio yes has that too. It’s still new as it turned 1 while I was there.

The pool is small but doesn’t matter because there is a whole ocean to swim in.

Great views from the 7th floor patio with great food n drinks. Usually there are evening events happening in the shared area by the pool along with the neighbouring property smugglers cove.

Love this place and I will stay here for sure.

The hotel is on a beach with a lovely outlook. The food is great and the rooms are new, handy to have the washing machine and dryer as well as desk. The customer service is fantastic including storage of luggage and early/late airport transfers plus advice on local area and shopping.

Please note the sand is brown (lots of people imagine yellow Fiji sand). It’s really a lovely place to stay, away from the cosmetically altered Denarau and less hectic than the downtown.
