Location-wise, right in the middle of everything I want. Halal restaurants, mosque, shopping malls and cafe are all in walking distance. Opera house – 2 minutes, luxury brands/saigon centre/saigon square – 7 minutes. Ben Thanh market – 15 minutes.

This hotel is centrally located in Saigon main area, about 100 meters away from a mosque with Halal food around the mosque area.

The hotel is a 5 Star hotel with amenities and items provided as such, Well located as a base for travel and to get tours around Ho Chi Minh.

The Gym is well equipped with latest working equipment and also provides fresh towels, bananas and water every morning which I thought was a nice gesture for early morning guests wanting to exercise.It must be mentioned the staff at the entrance and during breakfast are really top notch and provided excellent service and hospitality throughout our stay, I would definitely recommend the hotel and really enjoyed our stay here.

Good quiet neighbourhood.There is a Halal restaurant around the corner (from the entrance turn left) and Ben Thanh market is a good 20 minutes walk away to the right.

Like most Asean cities, Sheraton mainy offer large rooms in their hotels. Our rooms was very spacious with clean beautiful bath.The hotel was very strategically located. Every tourists attractions were within walking distance even to the most famous Ben Tanh market was just 15mins walking. The biggest mosque in Saigon was just next door to the hotel so finding Halal food for Muslim tourists was a breeze as there are many of such restaurants was just across the street. Nearby the hotel were mainly shops, restarants or coffee shops.

At dusk, it was lovely to go to level 23 to unwind with cocktails at an open air bar. The famous landmarks of Saigon could be seen from here. Adjacent to the bar is the hotel night club and usually there is foreign live band performing every night. It was a great hangout place of elite Vietnamese here and great for people watching.

4. Avanti Boutique Hotel 3* – Halal Friendly Hotels Ho Chi Minh City

Located just 1 km from the Reunification Palace, Avanti Boutique Hotel is also a minute’s walk from Ben Thanh Market. The hotel houses a fitness centre, a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk. Wi-Fi is provided for free.

The hotel is located about 7 km from Tan Son Nhat International Airport and 500 m from the Central Bus Station. Popular attractions like the Central Post Office, the Opera House and the Notre Dame Cathedral are just 1 km from the hotel.

The room is spacious with basics. A little bit of an upgrade would be good. The customer service at reception are excellent. The staffs are friendly. A huge plus point is it is very near many attractions and halal eating area and night markets.

Hotel rooms were spacious and bathroom was well clean and has bidet too. Each of our rooms has a small window. Room has cable TV channels, cordless kettle for coffee/tea and a mini fridge. Towels are clean and aircon is cool. Location is just 2 mins walk to Ben Thanh.

And if you want to have halal Singapore food, there is a halal owned restaurant by a Singaporean 3 doors down from this hotel. Hotel reception / staff were nice and friendly.

I had also noticed many HALAL restaurants all within walking distance of the hotel and for those customers looking for Halal food, then this location is also a plus.

The hotel itself is decorated very modern contemporary, room service on point, facilities are great with the rooftop pool and concierge are extremely helpful.

For breakfast, there was too many options every morning, the waiters were very welcoming, especially Huyen Tran and Lim Ngan who always knew what we ordered, ordering our special Halal meals and always keeping our son company.

It’s these small things that make the stay special. Look forward to staying in more Sofitel hotels around the globe.

All staff are welcoming and service oriented with smiling face.

The french manager was very helpful in accommodating to my request for late check-out. He is friendly and well mannered.

Restaurant Manager Robert was very kind and was willing to cater Halal food from outside the hotel.

Overall I appreciate and satisfied with my stay there.
