The hotel provided us with early check-in and an upgrade at arrival to a beautiful and spacious corner room with two balconies and sweeping views of Milan.

The bathroom was very large with a great soaking tub and separate shower.

We were within walking distance to the Duomo, the Opera, great shopping.

We explored the city and also enjoyed the wonderful spa. All the staff were attentive, friendly, and welcoming.

We can’t wait to return!

We have been coming for years to the bar-lounge for drinks with friends . Yesterday it was the last time . cocktails at 22 euros , wine much too expensive and this whole privilege with a few chips , some olives and salted almonds . and not even a very attentive service.

What a shame , and those prices are completely out of line vs Milan, vs the customers and when related to the quality of drinks and service . It was not like this before . too bad

On arriving we was not disappointed the hotel is well presented and the team behind reception were very polite and helpful.

Our room was clean, gorgeous and very spacious, we had a suite on the second floor.

The whole hotel was very quaint and very well fitted out and decorated.

The location was excellent, with everything we needed and most of the sights just around the corner, we also had a delightful Gondola ride from just outside the hotel.

Breakfast was great and again the staff were so friendly and very welcoming.

We had a lovely couple of days and we would highly recommend this hotel.

The location is 5 minutes walking distance from just about anything. The Rialto bridge is around the corner and a short walk brings you to the San Marco square and beyond.

The hotel was very clean, rooms were checked multiple times per day for cleanliness.

Did I already mention that the hotel and rooms were very well designed in a modern Venetian design?

It is the best value you can get for a 4 star hotel in such proximity to all the relevant venues in the center of Venice.

It is also very close to line 12 which takes you to the Northern Islands, which you must not forget to visit on your trip to Venice.

Furthermore, the staff was super helpful with our own requests before check-in and after check-out, but we were even handed additional guidance on exploring the city as well as a short teaching session on the history of the Venetians.

Our city trip to Venice was extra memorable thanks to our stay at the Aqua Palace!

Why You Should NOT Book Aqua Palace Hotel

I thought the hotel was very clean and the decor was beautiful.

The breakfast buffet was also very nice and the lady serving us was also very kind.

While this hotel is located near a lot of main attractions, the location was not ideal for us.

We were placed in a room on the first floor overlooking the canal and next to the water taxi landing. This had two huge problems:

1. The hotel is located next to a trash pickup site. This means that starting at 8am every morning, there are very loud trash collection sounds that go on for about 2 hours (trash pickup is aggregated in a few places so the process takes hours to complete).

Our room was literally 10 feet from the source of the trash pickup noise. I don’t know if other guests overlooking the canal on the higher floors had the same experience, but I would imagine that it wasn’t much better than ours.

2. Having our room next to the water taxi landing site was also bad because the landing area is where people like to congregate for a smoke.

This caused the hallway in front of our room (and next to that landing site) to smell terribly of smoke regularly.

3. Best Western Hotel Stella d’Italia 4* – Hotel Halal Italia

Excellent hotel with very professional and helpful front desk staff. The hotel has old school charm.

It is very clean and located steps from the Cathedral and plaza with many places to shop and eat nearby.

My sleeping room was spacious and clean and equipped with a compact refrigerator and a electric hot water kettle for coffee or tea.

The bathroom was also roomy and well maintained.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel staff was fantastic .

The hotel is right in the old part of Marsala. Close to food and cafes. Rooms were clean and spacious.

The breakfast was large and welcoming. I would definitely return on my next trip to Sicily.

Breakfast was amazing and still as of today, my mouth waters thinking of all the goodies served (cakes, cookies, cannolis).

The location is wonderful right in the heart of Marsala where people stroll and were all the bars and eateries area.

Too bad our room faced a balcony rather than the plaza where the church is and all the liveliness, but I am sure if you ask for a room with the view you may get it.

On the plus side, it was likely quieter this side as the plaza was teeming with tourists until late night.

Why You Should NOT Book Best Western Hotel Stella d’Italia

This place was amazing last year when we stayed and the water from the bar was included with being a member, this time the check in was frustrating we were charged for water both the rooms I paid for were not together then when I asked for more hygiene products a box with scraps was pulled out and it was a little weird.

What topped it off is that the concierge was upset with us when the AC stopped working and he got mad at us for not calling at 1 am.

The locals were super loud so we couldn’t sleep until the locals stopped at 3 am.

Only came here because we stayed here last year and had a much better experience. I will never be staying here again and I will stop recommending
