My room was described as a basic double, it was actually huge. The bed was the biggest king size bed I have slept in. The bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding and pillows.

There is a small fridge which contained complimentary bottles of water and a small bottle of milk.

The shower was lovely and for a change pristine bath sheets were provided. Also Complimentary toiletries. The room was cleaned to an excellent standard.

There was free WiFi and a big screened TV.
Good variety of cooked and continental breakfast, all delicious.

2. Hotel Indigo Liverpool, an IHG Hotel 4*– Halal Hotels Liverpool

A 10-minute walk from Lime Street Rail Station, this stylish boutique hotel has free WiFi. The hotel lobby, Cotton Lounge and Marco Pierre White Steakhouse restaurant are inspired by the local area. Albert Dock is just 16 minutes’ walk away.

The rooms at Hotel Indigo have been inspired by Liverpool’s history and culture. Each has a flat-screen TV with Sky channels, and facilities for making tea and coffee. There is also an iPod docking station, a rainfall shower, a work desk, and a mini fridge.

Guests can dine in the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill, which offers cocktails, wines and hearty food. Breakfasts are also available in the morning.

This contemporary hotel is set a 5-minute walk from Liverpool James Street train station and 1 km from Albert Dock, a complex with museums and galleries including The Beatles Story and Tate Liverpool.

The colourful, modern rooms and suites come with free Wi-Fi, TVs and iPod docks. They also include desks and mini fridges.

Great location, 5 minutes walk from the Albert Dock.

Room was adequate, not as plush as other Indigo hotels we have visited, but clean and comfortable. We did not use any eating facilities, but there is a Marco Pierre White restaurant on site. As usual, the staff were exceptional.

The hotel is in a great location to access the waterfront and also to get into the central shopping areas. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, cafes within a few minutes walk away.

Our room in Indigo was very clean and modern although a bit compact. Lovely big walk in shower and bath robes provided. Liked the speaker / sound from TV in bathroom!

Breakfast was included in our room rate and an excellent selection, range and quality of hot and cold items were available. Shirley ( waitress ) was particularly attentive, efficient and friendly.

She went above and beyond her role to provide a superb service for us. All the staff we met were friendly which helped us enjoy our stay.

I would stay here again when I return to Liverpool in the future.

3. Staybridge Suites Liverpool 4* – Muslim Friendly Hotels Liverpool

Offering the comfort, privacy and freedom of your own home, these fully-equipped suites are ideally located next to Liverpool’s famous Albert Dock and opposite the Echo Arena.

Staybridge provides fully air-conditioned suites, each of which are furnished with a contemporary, modern feel. All suites are feature an equipped kitchen and separate living area.

Guests are now provided with a Grab and Go breakfast bag with hot breakfast sandwich. A fitness centre and free laundry facilities are also featured.

On the iconic Kings Waterfront, this modern all-suite hotel is a 6-minute walk from the Royal Albert Dock and 20 minutes’ walk from Liverpool Lime Street Station.

Warm, unfussy studios feature kitchens, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. The 1-bedroom suites add separate living areas with sofabeds. Some quarters offer views of the Royal Albert Dock.

A breakfast buffet is complimentary, as are regular evening socials with snacks and drinks. There’s also a fitness room, a coin-operated laundry, and a 24-hour pantry selling meals and drinks.

The suite was amazing and we had a spectacular view of the wheel it looked so nice at night time, breakfast was ok not much choice in the hot section for a halal eater.

I think staying at Staybridge Suites Liverpool has made me see travelling in a completely different light. From now on I think I can only stay in this type of accommodation – no other types of hotels for me! The kitchenette is my dream kitchen and comes with everything you need (minus fresh food, of course). Everything is perfect, from cleanliness to the staff, who were absolutely wonderful. It is pet-friendly, so you may want to take to note of that. Our room faced a carpark though – maybe due to our room choice (studio suite). Location is lovely, near Albert Dock which has Spice Lounge (all dishes halal, but they serve wine).

I didn’t see any public transportation but the staff will readily get you taxis. It’s also less than 5 pounds to Liverpool Lime Street and less than 10 pounds to Anfield. I’ll definitely pick Staybridge from now on!
