Halal Hotels Al Madinah Al Munawarah

The official form of Islam is Sunni of the Hanbali school, in its Salafi version. According to official statistics 90% of Saudi Arabian citizens are Sunni Muslims, 10% are Shia. (More than 30% of the population is made up of foreign workers who are predominantly but not entirely Muslim.)

By Crescent Rating, Saudi Arabia is 6th rated among most Muslim-friendly countries.

How many mosques are there in Saudi Arabia

The number of mosques operating in the Saudi Arabia is approximately 90,000. The Seven Mosques (Arabic: المساجد السبعة‎ Al-Masajid As-Sab’ah) or Sab’u Masajid is a complex of six small historic and often visited mosques in the city of Medina, Saudi Arabia.

Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.

Many international hotels in Saudi Arabia do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.

Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

Medina is a city in western Saudi Arabia. In the city center, the vast Al-Masjid an-Nabawi (Prophet’s Mosque) is a major Islamic pilgrimage site. Its striking Green Dome rises above the tombs of the Prophet Muhammad and early Islamic leaders Abu Bakr and Umar. The Masjid al-Qiblatain (Qiblatain Mosque) is known as the site where the Prophet Muhammad received the command to change the direction of prayer to Mecca.

The room was beautiful, obviously more so because we were facing The Beloved Rasool’Allah. When you have the highest turnover for rooms anywhere in the world, carpet wears out faster, as do some items. But the bathroom and

toiletries were fine.
Honestly, you’re not going to Madinah for your room. You’re missing the point if you think otherwise.

As soon as you enter the breakfast dining area, turn left and go up the stairs.
It’s the same food, but it is wayyyyyy less busy and you will have a better chance of getting a window seat.
The food was really good.

The ingredients were top-notch, maybe it’s because in North America they are using way too many processed ingredients, but we thought highly of the food. (Also, it blew the Madinah Hilton breakfast out of the water. It was WAY better).

This is one of the closest hotels to the Grave of the Prophet and to Jannat’ul Baqi Cemetary.

I strongly recommend all men and women to walk from the hotel towards the right side in the space between the Prophet and Baqi. This area is always open and free and clear for women to walk towards 1 of the 2 corners in the back of the Mosque they are allowed to enter from.

All the hotels in the back are no comparison to this hotel for location.
Those hotels give no perspective on the sheer magnanimity and transcendent tranquility of the Presence of the Prophet.

So women – walk. Don’t use the shuttle. It’s not that far and you will be able to say Salam to the Prophet and His Companions, Family and Tabieen.

Lastly, I understand the hotel is expensive. But relative to the other places in Madina it’s still cheaper and a great value. If you want a resort vacation you’re coming to the wrong place. This is Madina, 1400 years ago they are wheat and barley paste and dates and were content. Now we have reviewers complaining about the lack of umbrellas in their drinks.

This is why the Muslim Ummah is in disarray. There is no gratitude to God for all the Blessings he has Bestowed upon us. None greater than his Beloved Messenger.

The Crown Plaza Hotel in Madinah is one of many hotels for muslims who wants to visit and pray in the second Holy Masjid in Saudi Arabia. The staff are very nice and rooms are okay, breakfast is good and location is good too.

I would say the hotel is clean, comfortable and secure, the room is quiet, clean and tidy.
In addition to the above , the staff are extremely professional by making you feel that you’re at home!
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Madina.

The hotel is located close to the Haram, only few minutes walk to the gate of the haram hall and the shops around it.
Certainly it’s not a new building, but well maintained.

The room wasn’t that huge as I opted for the lowest category since it was only 24 hours stay, yet, it had this big king bed nice view of the city and the distant mountains surrounding, cool TV set and techs. The room was clean and the beddings were fresh. I had a very comfortable sleep on that bed , which I needed so much then.
The shower room was small but comfortable and was clean with cool toiletries.

I tried in room dining for sohoor, they told me it’ll take around 30 minutes but it took much less, and the food was delicious ( I had a spaghetti Bolognese ).

The service at the hotel was very professional with most of the staff. Mr. Aws from the reception was exceptionally nice during checking in and out.

The hotel is highly recommended.

The hotel has a coffee house on the ground floor and buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner on the mezzanine floor.

Food is excellent. Most of the rooms are taken up by Malaysians and Indonesians performing the Umrah.

he hotel really exceeded our expectations this time with their improved overall hospitality. Everyone of the staff is ready to help despite being a very busy hotel.

We arrived on time and the rooms were ready and spotlessly clean. Everything in the facility is working very well. Always ask the staff for the nearest elevators to your room as it seems they are allocating some to Top floors and others to certain floors so you don’t have to wait long time for your turn (really a good idea for very busy hotels).

Despite being very near to Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi it is still very quiet from inside and that’s for me personally is the best thing in order to have a good sleep at night in an area that is full of people walking 24/7.

Their breakfast is truly better than many other premium hotels in Al-Madin (based on my own experience).

They have parking but they are charging a premium price. I tried it in the first night but then I moved my car to Al-Haram underground parking which is much cheaper but a little bit far from hotel.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Al-Masjid Al-Nabawi and would like to have a peace of mind stay.

Very good location for those on pilgrimage there. The rooms are reasonably good. Will compare other hotels when I visit again. The food is fantastic.

Shopping is very easy also. Many eateries in the area.

The room was huge & bed room was completely serrated from large living room. Bathroom was wonderful! In brief, old is old but nice, well maintained, staffs are well trained & found many peoples working there belongs to my country Bangladesh. The breakfast items – I never seen such variety in any property I visited. Truly Fantastic! It’s very closed to Al-Masjid an-Nabawi through main entrance. It has to noted that only Muslim can visit that area & non-Muslim are prohibited to visit.

It’s costly place during Hajj, reasonably, visitor may try after or before HAJJ.

The suite we stayed in was amazing and very convenient for a large family with three bedrooms, three bathrooms and one large living room. The room service was efficient and so was the housekeeping service. Apart from being a little crowded when fully booked it is the perfect destination for muslim worshippers who want to be in the vicinity of the “Masjid Al Nabawi” where the Prophet Muhammad PBUH lays.

Hotel is conveniently located close to Masjid Al Nabawi – literally a few steps away.

Excellent stay, breakfast is generous and the dinner buffet is delicious. Fantastic room service / housekeeping from M.D. Liton and M.Shehroz Khalid. They delivered a very efficient service and our room was spotless! Also, the door staff, in particular Ghazi were very friendly. Ghazi is very hospitable, willing to go the extra mile when you have a question (he will endeavour to find out the information you require) always has a smile on his face and is a fantastic example of the Shaza brand.

Overall, the staff are attentive at this hotel and make the stay very memorable. Will definitely be returning Insha’allah.
