By Crescent Rating, Mexico is 116 rated among most Muslim-friendly countries.
How many mosques are there in Mexico?
Three of the main mosques are located Mexico City.
Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.
Many international hotels in Mexico do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.
Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

I wanna add only one thing, I saw so many muslim families in this resort and if this resort include some halal options in their buffets and ala carte restaurants, that will be icing on the cake.
They have different pools in their resort but we stayed mostly in the main pool where all the events happens. Main pool also have a diving cliff which our kids like a most. I tried a slide and that was so fun.
Over all our experience was very good and we give this resort a five star and recommend to everyone to visit once there
One bedroom is basically a one bedroom apartment consist a king bed in a bedroom with a huge bathroom with shower which we enjoyed a lot.
Also a big sliding door opens to a big balcony where you can see Ocean and a pool right under your feet 🙂
Other room is a living room with a murphy bed in it. Kids chose to stay there… living room had a kitchenette with fridge oven and microwave. Having one bedroom means you have two full washrooms.
The food is top notch! The 2 buffets are amazing and you would be happy if that was all that was available. The buffet on the Ventus side is particularly wonderful.
We were able to get reservations at all the restaurants and really enjoyed the Italian and French.
Between the two sides the pools are amazing!
The main pool is a blast but when you want to relax the quieter infinity pools are heavenly and less crowded.
We booked platinum and had an ocean view room in building 14. Excellent location that was a quick walk to everything.
The resort is just large enough and easy to navigate. Our room was very comfortable and kept in great order by housekeeping.

Insulation is not a strength so there can be a lot of noise from traffic and other rooms although we were lucky to have quiet neighbours.
The hotel is nicely located near the Perisur Shopping Mall and the university. The staff is very friendly and offers a solution for every question.

For snorkelling you have to swim to the coral reef (>100mts) or take a guided snorkelling tour.
The GYM is well equipped and just a stone throw away from the Explorer’s Club (Kids club).
The explorer’s club is very nice, better than most kids clubs in other resorts, they have a lovely climbing frame, a fountain play area, screen.
The shows at night are really good, is not poorly trained hotel staff.
They have showbiz professionals (musicians, tenors, dancers, acrobats), and there is always food around, you can pay extra for preferential seats (wine dinner and show).
The Explorers club is great they have a wide range of activities, they also care about little ones, mine was reluctant to join so they gave some extra special attention to her to make her welcome. They have some basic training in first aid.
The variety of food is great, better than most resorts, they have 6 restaurants: French, Italian, Japanese, Mexican, World Food, and Café. (Baby chairs all around)
I only visited the Japanese (interesting Mexican-Japanese fusion) and enjoyed the Teriyaki presentation, the chef had all laughing -young and old- with the catch the carrot trick.
The World Food restaurant is perfect for quick eat (self-service buffet) they have a good variety. The Mexican Restaurant a la carte really nice view next to the pool and beach lovely food, and the café serves great cakes.
