Halal Hotels Munich

Owing to labour migration in the 1960s and several waves of political refugees since the 1970s, Islam has become a visible religion in Germany. An estimate published in 2016 for 2015 calculated that there are 4.4 to 4.7 million Muslims in Germany (5.4–5.7% of the population).
By Crescent Rating, Germany is 43rd rated among most Muslim-friendly countries.
How many mosques are there in Germany?
According to the Bundestag researchers, Germany is home to “at least 2,350 to 2,750 mosque congregations.
The Muslim friendly hotel means a hotel that has Islamic characteristics that can provide basic facilities that are more friendly to Muslim customers such as a Qibla direction indicator, the availability of prayer tools, the presence of halal food / list of nearby restaurants that provide halal food.

Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.

Many international hotels in Munich do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.

Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

Contemporary rooms with air-conditioning & free Wi-Fi, some with balconies, in a modern hotel.

A very newish hotel that is perfectly situated within walking distance of most of Munich’s sights and ‘todo’ places.
Rooms are well appointed and spacious and the bed is comfy.
Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Price is very good.

The hotel is centrally located in the Old Town and 2 minutes to all the main attractions and the train station.

The rooms are fabulous – minimalist style (sort of Skandi), super clean, big bathroom, in ours a small sitting room and a balcony. It is all as expected of a reasonably new and funky boutique hotel.

The turn down service is fabulous – House made negroni to assist you with the final nightcap and sleep on super beds, great dooners ( duvets) and very comfortable pillows.

Breakfast is a beautiful fare of cereals, cold meats, salads, fruit, yoghurts and lovely bakery items. Served upstairs in the terrace and bar area it was a real treat for me watching snow fall whilst eating breakfast.

The terrace is large and must be beautiful to sit out on in the warmer months.

This hotel is very nice and it is ideally situated.
Rooms are lovely and the decor is nice throughout the hotel.
We were presently surprised as we were greeted in Arabic as soon as we arrived by the concierge, also halal food is an option the hotel.
The cakes sold downstairs are wonderful and they look lovely and certainly taste very nice.
Room was a good size. Bathroom had a shower and the essentials but no bath.
Would recommend this hotel!
The location is perfect as its along the “signature-brands avenue” like Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Chanel, etc. – the Maximillian St. Few blocks away, there is a Starbucks Cafe and Hard Rock Cafe. Just in front also of the hotel is a tram station which can easily take you anywhere in Munich.
. Location is perfect; the very modern and recently refurbished room was not as small as we expected it on reading the other reviews on Tripadvisor. Good bedding even if a bit on the hard side, good quality pillows.
Air Conditioning can be adjusted from the room and we also loved the fact that we could open the windows and get fresh air, really a great asset!
Great shower stall with both a rainshower and a handshower with excellent pressure and nice chromotherapy lights to top it all. Plenty of soft towels and bathrobes but only one hook in the bathroom and directly over the toilet brush holder, not the highest hygienic standard to my taste!
Quality of breakfast was good, plenty and varied, offering also a good selection of Muslim friendly dishes for their numerous Middle Eastern clientele.
Service at breakfast was excellent: I especially appreciated to have a fresh cup along with our second coffee pot.

This is a great place to stay if you don’t mind being outside the center of Munich and closer to the suburbs.

The hotel is in a business area, but there is a mall not too far away and grocery stores and restaurants not too far. Parking is so easy and checking in was a breeze. We had a suite and the room was very large. Had air conditioning, two TVs a small kitchen and very comfortable bed.

The breakfast was actually very good and efficient too. We scheduled our time slot and they give you a plate with eggs, sausages, cold meats, cheese and some veggies. It actually worked out well for us.

IF you’re not concerned about views or being in the city center (although you’re only a 20 min Uber from it), this hotel has a lot to offer: pay a few extra bucks and get a suite.

Very spacious rooms, new baths, large flat screens (2); delicious breakfasts; gracious staff; very comfy beds, modified kitchen, quiet location.

The large, newly decorated studio room also had a little kitchenette and a good size wet room with waterfall shower. We were really impressed with the room facilities and we enjoyed having the option of preparing a little evening meal at the end of a busy day exploring.

The breakfast was excellent and although we didn’t interact much with staff they were always very friendly.

This hotel is a short bus ride (194) to the local train/tube station (Trudering) and the station is well linked to the City Center.

It’s also close to a large shopping mall and there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby if you don’t fancy going into the city centre.
