he hallways, like my room, was very clean. I enjoyed the city skyline view from my room, and will admit that even on the high floors it is possible to hear some activity of sirens during the day/night, but I totally expected that considered where I was staying within the city. It was not extremely loud at all and caused zero problems during my short stay. The Aveda toiletries they provide are some of the best at any Marriott property.

The shower is designed without a ‘lip’ which avoids any trip hazard, and it totally works. I figured the chaise lounge would go unused, but I was wrong. A great addition right there at the window for relaxed viewing.

Perfect location if attending event at Javits Center. Just 2 block walk. Great dining within the hotel or right next door at Fresh & Co. Helpful and friendly staff.

Room was ready for an early check-in and I was able to check bags at check-out and explore the city all day after the trade show and not worry about my suitcase. Marvi and his team are great. Clean room and comfortable bed. Looking forward to staying there again.

 

As for location it is the best!.. It is very quiet in the evening on 10th avenue, and you have great views of the city and the Hudson, and the ongoing construction for that matter in the Hudson Yards if you have any interest, and I do!

There is a new Whole foods 2 blocks south and a Brooklyn Fare grocery 2 blocks north , 5-6 delis on 9th avenue, a deli on tenth ave, and parking lots nearby if needed.

They can direct you accordingly. There are 4 food trucks and 5 food carts in the Bella Abzug park one block away and the awesome new Hudson Yards for all kinds of shopping The A train is 3 blocks east and the 7 train to link up is a block away and is brand new.

The Hudson River and Greenway for bicycles is just 3 blocks to the west and the Javits center is also nearby, only 2 blocks west as well. Basically, anything and everything you need is within reach.

All of 34th street moving east is available for shipping from Macy’s to street vending and all the various restaurants as well as all of Hell’s Kitchen so nearby!
