How many mosques are there in Qatar?
Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.
Many international hotels in Qatar do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.
Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

Food menu, a number of dining areas, we choose in room dining, menu was acceptable for a nights stay, was expecting more Indian options but at present not really available bar butter chicken. Food is expensive but this is to be expected.
Breakfast area is large and comprehensive there is something for everyone, we went at 8 am and there was adequate space and service was good, the staff are busy but seem to manage very well, no complaints at all.
The pool is the perfect size with a depth of 1.3 m, the kids have a lovely time between the beach and the pool, the ocean seems to be a little bit dirty.

Staff and service was great, particularly Umar & Dolores who organised tours etc for us.
Buffet breakfast was good value and we tried 3 of the restaurants for meals (Jarvan, Mahadev, Emshoot). Restaurants don’t served alcohol at all as is the case in most Qatari restaurants.
