Best Day Tours in Thailand for Muslim Travelers
Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It’s known for tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples displaying figures of Buddha. In Bangkok, the capital, an ultramodern cityscape rises next to quiet canalside communities and the iconic temples of Wat Arun, Wat Pho and the Emerald Buddha Temple (Wat Phra Kaew). Nearby beach resorts include bustling Pattaya and fashionable Hua Hin.

The hotel is really made by the very helpful and friendly staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a good stay, bringing tea or coffee to your room in the morning and bringing a “treat” each afternoon.
The hotel is well maintained and in great condition throughout, we had a nice duplex room with a pool which had a view of the ocean from the bedroom but not from the lounge or pool area but it was nice to wake up and see the ocean. If you want to see the ocean from your pool you need a room on the front row.
The hotel breakfast was very good with a small buffet selection and a great choice of different breakfasts on the a la carte menu and again the team in the restaurant were very helpful and friendly.
The hotel doesn’t really have its own beach as such, there is a small bit of beach available when the tide is out but this is no problem as you can still sit in the nice garden area and relax watching the ocean. As well as this hotel guests can use the beach at either of the two sister hotels just around the corner, we tried both and they were both very good.
The hotel itself is on a quiet stretch of road just a few minutes walk to numerous shops, bars and restaurants and Khaolak itself is an ideal place for couples and families as it is pretty quiet compared to some of the other places in Thailand.

! The hotel is very well maintained, spotless, so Instagrammable at any angle you take photos (if you are into Instagram :), great staff, nice and helpful. They have activities for adults and kids from Mon-Saturday. We tried the yoga classes and all the kids activities were led by Rain. She was great! So energetic, friendly, and a fun person to be with. Great food! Breakfast was so well done and focused on quality over quantity.
The beach was perfect for little kids and totally clean. The sand was perfect for sand castles and the water was great for swimming. The swimming pool was amazing.
The staff consistently went out of their way to make our stay great.
The villas themselves were so wonderful – clean, comfortable and luxurious. Especially loved the showers.
The beach on the property is not really great for swimming as there’s not much of a sandy beach and the waves are fairly rough…would recommend Chaweng Beach instead. The breakfast buffet was very nice and both pools were great.
Staff were lovely, especially at reception and cleaning. Nikki is a bit far from everything else on the island (~40 min to chaweng area and about 10-20 min driving from everywhere else worth visiting) but the hotel does provide free shuttles daily.
Spa was typical – overpriced for what it is as you can get much better massages elsewhere on the island but this is the same across most resorts and I guess you are paying more for the environment.

Pleasantly surprised to find it a halal hotel and all staff helpful and friendly enough.
Rooms clean, large and reasonably appointed. However, Shower runs cold and doesnt heat up. Shower curtain mouldy and the rail fell down a few times . Towels abit musty smelling. Bed is old and a touch lumpy.
There are only two plug sockets in the room one of which shares the old TV and kettle. So if you have a few things to charge then you’ll find it a bit tedious unless you have an extension plug.
Breakfast is ok . Costs 300 baht and only runs between 8am to 10am so if you’re leaving early for an excursion or diving them best don’t book the rooms with breakfast included.
Saladan town is just about 5-6 kms away from Lanta Manda n we rented motorbikes during our stay for easy access around island for THB 250 per day (reasonable) Across the resort, you will find plenty of food choices (be it for breakfast international choices or Muslim-Kosh (halal) it’s all around n very reasonable priced.
Laundrettes, pharmacies, international clinic, plenty of 7-11 outlets, fresh seafood BBQ n pizzas / steakhouse , all conveniently around you without hassle.

Very beautiful hotel and the halal food was a plus point since it’s so hard to find a hotel in Thailand with halal food (it is stated in the menu that their chicken & beef are halal).
However in the breakfast buffet, the chicken and pork sausages were placed side by side in the same tray and using the same kitchen tong, so we were unable to eat it.
A good place to stay for Khao Yai, the location is 15 mind drive to Khao Yai.
Spacious Room and clean. Feeling truly relaxed and away from city.
Breakfast is variety and delicious.
As soon as we drove into the hotel, we were highly impressed with the security guard who graciously gave us details as to where we should check in and where to park.
We felt excited to see such beautiful and well manicured gardens and everything we saw was exactly the same as in the photos.
The lobby was so relaxing and a beautiful breeze passed through it from the gardens. The staff were so warm and courteous. The rooms were clean, pretty, spacious and calming and views were nice. We tried the U spa, prices were very reasonable with great special deals.
The buffet breakfast selection was fabulous and well presented. Swimming pool was perfect to take a refreshing dip and to take in the beautiful garden atmosphere. We took many lovely photos all around the hotel.
After travelling the world and staying in many different places. this tops the list as my most favourite hotel to relax and the family all agree. We can’t wait to return again.
