Halal Hotels Tunisia
Islam is the official state religion in Tunisia. According to CIA, 99.1% of its adherents are Sunni Muslims. The constitution of Tunisia states that the country’s “religion is Islam”, the government is the “guardian of religion”, and requires that the president be Muslim
The Muslim friendly hotel means a hotel that has Islamic characteristics that can provide basic facilities that are more friendly to Muslim customers such as a Qibla direction indicator, the availability of prayer tools, the presence of halal food / list of nearby restaurants that provide halal food.
Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.
Many international hotels in Tunisia do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.
Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

A Great hotel with top quality service and definitely the best one in Hammamet and even in Tunisia. I strongly recommend for those looking for perfection, warm welcome and attention.
Right here you are looking at one of the best hotels you can find in Tunisia !
Honestly I’m a harsh critic, but this hotel has amazed me and it’s annoying me because my hotel standards are so high now !
Firstly, the rooms are luxurious, clean and big. My sister and I loved it we had great views and I could see that most people in the hotel also enjoyed great views of the swimming pool and sea.
Also, the service is by far the BEST service I have ever gathered upon in a hotel.
The people are very nice and always have a smile on their face which just made our time more enjoyable. Most workers there have been around since the hotel begun, (almost 20 years) and so you can just see that they enjoy what they do by always being there and treating you like Kings and queens .
The pool is very nice and the beach is easily accessible. You also get given a wet towel as you enter the beach which is always nice considering the temperature can reach 45 degrees !
We had an all inclusive stay and I must say it was well worth it.
The food was amazing you just know it’s made fresh just before being served to you as the plate is hot.
By the way, you get a starter, main and dessert and trust me a starter on it’s own was sometimes enough for all of us as they do give you a lot. All inclusive however does not include drinks so I suggest you save a bit of money for that .
I would love to say more on this hotel but I need to catch my flight home but overall it was one of the best places I have stayed at and I really recommend it for anyone wanting to relax (honeymoon would be great to be honest) .

Great experience, service was exceptional, hotel very nice, food was local and of a very high quality, the spa was magnificent with too many treatments, the price of the spa was affordable and great value for money.
We enjoyed three restaurants: La carte (expensive one), the swimming pool (medium prices) and the grill front of the sea (medium prices). For the three, we rate 5 stars for the amazing food, the service and the environment. Thanks to the whole team.
On the swimming side, three beautiful pools with loads of add-up services (sunbeds, towels, lifeguards, barman) with a fantastic view on the sea and a perfectly maintained environment (grass, equipment e.g.).
On the main hotel side, huge entry, luxury touch everywhere, smiley personnel: Thanks! For the lofts: lounge decoration with full clim and fantastic bedding. Last but not least: the Thalasso.
Probably the best and most beautiful I have seen so far. A big Waouh! Not quite cheap but it s money worth with top professionals, sublime decoration and amazing sea view. As a summary: probably the best 5 star Thalasso hotel in Tunisia.

Located within 15 km of Carthage Roman Ruins and Sidi Bou Said, Four Seasons Hotel Tunis offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The property boasts a tennis court, as well as a garden. Guests can grab a bite to eat in the in-house restaurant or relax in the bar.
At the hotel, the rooms are fitted with a desk and a flat-screen TV. Rooms include a coffee machine, a wardrobe and outdoor terrace or balcony.
A hillside, beachfront setting in the affluent Gammarth neighbourhood, connecting to all the best of Tunis.
25 minutes to Les Berges du Lac for business, 30 minutes to Tunis City, the Medina and souks, 15 minutes to Sidi Bou Said, the charming seaside village. 15 minutes to Carthage, a UNESCO archaeological site featuring the ruins of the ancient Roman city.
From the minute you walk through the front door you are made to feel welcome and you feel like everybody’s taking care of you. Ghassen from guest services seemed to be permanently on hand to open the door for me with a smile and never hesitated to come over to see if he could help whenever he saw me wandering around.
The flower arrangements in the lobby and the little alcove to the right opposite reception are beautiful and are changed regularly so I was always taking photos of them. If you go straight ahead you will find yourself in the open plan lobby lounge called Salon Alyssa which has lots of comfortable couches and armchairs as well as a grand piano. There’s a quiet library area at one end and you can also sit outside overlooking the swimming pool and the sea. You can eat there all day and they have delicious fresh juices. I often had a strawberry and melon juice with a club sandwich. One level down with the same view and a large terrace is Azul where you can have breakfast and I saw that they sometimes had parties there in the evening.
There is an excellent spacious gym with all the modern equipment you need to get a good workout and if the trainer Amir is around, he will help you out if you need it.
There are two separate exercise rooms attached to the gym. The changing rooms are spacious too with a sauna and a steam room and there’s a huge rectangular jacuzzi at one end just before the access to the spa.
The indoor pool is one of the most beautiful ones I’ve ever seen and is large enough that you can swim lengths in it and there is a jacuzzi area at each end. It has comfortable sunbeds that you can curl up and fall asleep on. You can also swim lengths in the outdoor pool which is very busy at weekends but empties out towards sunset.
There is a luxurious spa, very well-run by the Lebanese manager Cherbel, where you can have many treatments.
The hotel is breathtaking, the decor of the lobby is outstanding. The views of the lobby bar was also stunning! It instantly makes you feel relaxed. Because of the layout of the hotel, the general lobby is on the 5th floor and some guest rooms are below the 5th floor. At first, this was a turnoff, but after seeing the view, there was nothing to complain about.
The guest rooms were really nice, especially the bathroom. I thoroughly enjoyed the L’Occitane amenities, heated floor and overall generous space in the guest rooms. I did find a dirty kleenex in my robe and they replaced it immediately and apologized for it.
I highly encourage everyone to try the Spa at FS Tunis, it is by far my favorite spa. Guerlain facials, very nice hammam and a GORGEOUS POOL with fruit infused water and light treats. Makes me wish I visited in the summer.
The restaurant is very nice as well, we went to the “chic” restaurant upstairs and stayed there pretty much until closing time. I am grateful for this restaurant as it introduced me to Tunisian wines that were affordable and yet super delicious!
I look forward to returning to Tunis and will only stay at the Four Seasons!
