By Crescent Rating, Vietnam is 83rd rated among most Muslim-friendly countries.
How many mosques are there in Vietnam?
In Vietnam, there are about 40 masjid and 21 suraos. The Muslims in Vietnam mostly live in Ho Chi Minh City and An Giang Province, therefore, the largest sanctums are all located in these areas
Like other tourists, Muslim travelers coming from Islamic countries have particular requirements when they choose the destination for their vacation. Among these requirements, Muslims are concerned about the availability of halal compliant foods (no pork or alcohol in food) and a clean place to pray.
Many international hotels in Vietnam do serve halal food that is slaughtered in accordance with the teachings of Islamic Sharia and is free of any substances forbidden by Islam such as pork and alcohol.
Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

Best Day Tours in Hanoi for Muslim Travelers
Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is known for its centuries-old architecture and a rich culture with Southeast Asian, Chinese and French influences. At its heart is the chaotic Old Quarter, where the narrow streets are roughly arranged by trade. There are many little temples, including Bach Ma, honoring a legendary horse, plus Đồng Xuân Market, selling household goods and street food.

I cant put to words how wonderful our stay was at Stella Maris. First, the rooms are amazing. I stayed inocean view deluxe for 3 nights and at an executive suite for 4 nights. Both rooms are amazing and decently priced. The view of My Khe beach is stunning. Breakfast was always enjoyable with lots of choices.
We hardly left the hotel unless touring. The food at the restuarant was awesome that we ordered room service almost everyday. I want to commend Mr. Tien from the restuarant for such great service. And Ms. Celine who always greeted us every morning.
We enjoyed the rooftop bar and pool. Its such a cool place to hang out and unwind. The only thing was that the pool was freezing but then again, it was early Feb.
We also used the Spa 3 different times because the masseuse were so good and strong. They really do a great job.And The place was immaculate. Again, the price was decent. Outside places were cheaper but why go anywhere else?
Lastly, service all around was outstanding. They have the friendliest and most helpful staff. Best service i’ve experienced from a hotel.

This resort is fabulous. Our room was huge and pristine with all desired features. The main pool area is wonderful. We went in November so low season which meant it was pretty quiet all the time.
The beach is wonderful as it’s private and peaceful. The spa area includes a gym which was just right for a bit of daily exercise. The seafood BBQ buffet and breakfast buffet were out of this world! I couldn’t stop taking photos!
The hotel is located about 20 minutes taxi ride away from the International airport (please note, on the maps the old airport is much closer but this is now closed).
When you turn off the main road, you drive down a long tree-lined road to get to the hotel itself. It means that the hotel is quite isolated – which is a good thing in many ways but also meant it took me 20 minutes to walk back to the main road to buy some water and snacks. If you decide to eat elsewhere at night, you need to get a taxi. Reception will be happy to book one for you and they are very cheap.
We stayed in a ‘Premium Deluxe Ocean View’ room and it was the best room I’ve ever stayed in. A large double-bed and bath were in the middle of the room with lounge areas either side, a bathroom and a wet-room. There was also a big balcony overlooking the pool. The decor is very stylish and modern and the place is immaculately clean.
The pool is nicely designed with its own bar and the private beach is excellent, right in front of the hotel. Before the trip I’d done a lot of research on beaches and I was very pleased with where we’d chosen. The sand was good quality and it was a pretty place to spend time. There is a small beach bar and the Jasmine Iced Tea is recommended! The only negative was that the water had some litter in from the fishing boats up shore.
The food at the restaurant was excellent. We ate there every night and my only complaint is that there could have been a few more local style dishes to choose from. But the food was tasty and very well presented. The breakfast buffet was excellent too.
