We choose this hotel for our family (myself husband and Children 11yr & 9yrs) due to its central location to the gothic area, Christmas market and shopping plus if has great facilities (a pool gym and spa).
This hotel stay has made our Barcelona stay one of our best city breaks!

The hotel is beautiful, the staff are so polite and helpful. The rooms are a great size, clean, tidy and stylish.
The breakfast is also really good quality, lots and lots of choice: continental, fruit, cereals, full breakfast ect.

Our rooms were checked again in the evening and an extra couple of towels were left for us, with a complimentary chocolates and a drink voucher each for the bar.

The location is perfect, great restaurant and shops and all the historic sites are right in walking distance.

We have been to Barcelona many times and this time we decided to stay in the Gothic Quarter at this charming hotel. Room was wonderful and service superb.

Location: in the middle of everything — steps from shopping and restaurants and there was a Christmas market outside our door. Breakfast was great. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The room is a decent size. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The bathroom was large. I loved the waterfall shower.

There are blackout curtains which made the room very dark and excellent for sleeping. Our room was in the back, so it was very quiet. You can get breakfast right at the hotel but it is a bit on the expensive side. There is a coffee shop next door.

The free Wi-fi was excellent. The hotel is on a promenade where cars are not permitted so it is easy to walk around. There is a lot of shopping nearby as well as restaurants.

The old cathedral and the Christmas market are about 1 minute away. If in Barcelona, we will definitely stay here.

We stayed during December when the area in front of the Cathedral is bursting with Christmas Market life, and we loved this. The markets are busy but good fun and there are some great restaurants and bars right on the square.

Great little hotel and excellent location. Lovely roof top bar/terrace bonus. Bar was closed when we were visiting but your could still take a drink from the downstairs bar and lounge around. Our boys even used the roof top jacuzzi a couple of times. Good rooms and great breakfast. Staff service also excellent.

Lots of love bars and small restaurants in the alleys behind the hotel. 5 mins walk to the sea and major shops and 2 mins from Christmas market.

Loved the hotel – 20 minutes or so from airport – Smooth check in with arrival drinks – room was smallish but ok for two nights, it was very clean with all the toiletries you could want, robe and slippers, chocolates and mints. Was given a bottle of chilled cava and chocolate cake for my Birthday which was a nice surprise! We had a room on the side street found it a little noisy at times but nothing that spoiled our stay.

Great location 5 minutes form Cathedral there was a Christmas market 5 minutes away too – would definitely recommend and would definitely go back to stay there. Free wifi was useful too.

The hotel is in the heart of the city 5 minutes walk from Cathedral Square and the Christmas Markets and the bus stops for the Barcelona City Tours.

The location was perfect, across from the subway and right in the Gothic quarter. Walking distance to lots of great restaurants. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, with directions, dinner reservations, welcome drinks, etc. The room was small but very clean.

We didn’t get to use the hot tub on the roof this time around but we did spend some time enjoying the view. And breakfast was amazing, especially the warm croissants and fresh orange juice. I would definitely stay here again.

I visited for a long weekend with 2 girlfriends in early December for 50th birthday celebrations. There was a Christmas market right outside, which was a lovely addition.

What a lovely hotel in the best location. The Christmas market was in the square in front of the hotel. The staff were all extremely friendly and even surprised my daughter with wine and chocolates on her birthday.

The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. We had breakfast included which was good value. We were given vouchers for free drinks on arrival. On the top floor you got a beautiful view across Barcelona.

It’s already known that the hotel boasts a grand view of the Cathedral. However, during November and December, you can see the Christmas market that is right in the courtyard in front. We booked the room with the view of the cathedral and was very satisfied.

The room featured a bathtub, bathrobes and slippers for a relaxing experience. Although I didn’t get to try out the restaurant and the bar, it seemed to be reasonably priced for the location and views.

This was also the last day of the Christmas market that was steps from the hotel on the plaza. The smells of fresh garland, Christmas trees, beautiful hand made items were fantastic.

Needless to say, we walked the market for hours. Our room was very spacious and the shower was huge! The room was newly renovated and exceptionally clean. Loved hearing the Cathedral bells chiming.

There is a historic Christmas market between the hotel and cathedral which means the area is busy throughout the day and evening until about 9pm but also very colourful.

For those who want a less expensive room but want the cathedral view, there is now a rooftop terrace and spa on the 7th floor – take your drinks up there and take in the view day or night.
