The hotel itself is literally just on the outer city centre, so out of the hustle and bustle but it takes less than 5 minutes to be in the centre and square.
The hotel is basic, but I didn’t expect anything less. The beds were comfortable and both the rooms and hotel was clean.
Only 25min from the Airport this Hotel is ideally located for the Old Town.
It is clean and the Staff are helpful and polite the rooms are clean and breakfast is of the continental style. We enjoyed or visit to Bratislava and the Christmas Markets and would use this hotel again. Thank you to all the staff.
This hotel is perfectly placed in the centre of Bratislava. 20 minutes from airport and only 15 euros by taxi!.
Hotel rooms are quite basic but have most things we needed. Very comfortable bed, very clean and excellent shower.
Everything is close by, numerous restaurants and bars, museum, Christmas market, shops.
We paid about 80 euros per night including breakfast, and this is great value.
Good twin accommodation. Breakfast good. Plus scrambled eggs, least plus little sausages. Great selection of fruit salad cheese and bread.
Short walk to Christmas markets
When we come back, and we will, we will definitely stay here again.
We stayed in this Ibis for 5 nights at the beginning of December, primarily to spend time at the Christmas markets. The location of this hotel is perfect. 2 mins walk into the old town. 5 mins to the high street.
There is a great sports bar opposite, a couple of decent restaurants up the hill and some more good bars round the corner opposite St Martins cathedral.
Staff in the hotel are really helpful and friendly. Reception are always happy to have a chat and housekeeping staff are friendly. I asked for extra pillows (you only get 2 in a double room) and they were brought immediately.
We took a travel kettle as were aware no brew-making facilities provided. Safety deposit boxes are free and behind reception (they give you the key). We researched about the tap water and found that it is safe to drink.
We were at the back of the hotel – looking up to the castle wall. You could hear faint rumbling of the trams but not disturbing. The hotel was clearly busy due to the number of people milling around in reception but there was no noise at all through the night.
The room was really clean, cleaned every day. Very comfortable bed. TV only had one English speaking channel-news -but wasn’t there to watch tv!

. Its a great location close to the old town. our favorite places to eat and drink are all close walking distance. We usually have at least 3 people in our group. sometimes more.
This hotel has several different room options and we always get what we need. the staff is very helpful as well. parking could be very difficult.
Lovely staff, especially on reception. Lovely hotel, nice rooms and excellent bathrooms. Breakfast a bit of a let down as not enough food for everybody at 9 a.m even though the hours are 7:30 – 10.00 a.m.
Nice location near the old town Another nice touch is ,it’s in a quiet zone so no noise between 10 p.m and 8 a.m. Makes for a good night’s sleep with mo noise from bars or restaurants.
The hotel is 10 minutes walk from bus station, on the edge of the Old Town and brilliantly located for all of the main sights and transport links. 3 minutes walk to the blue church.
The hotel is clean, very friendly staff, comfortable rooms, great value breakfast, and very good value for money. The only warning is that some of the rooms are very small, in our case that was no problem at all, but I know that some people do like space.
Highly recommended hotel. If travelling from Vienna Airport, very good bus links, advance booking recommended (If flight delayed, making changes is easy).

On arrival, we were upgraded to one of the nicest rooms we have stayed in at any hotel in the Raddisson Group. In fact, I would say that the room itself was lovely and the view, stunning. It would be very hard to beat this room at any Bratislava hotel. There was a bottle of wine, a cake and a lovely card left, as we were celebrating a belated anniversary.
The room was a mini-suite. The walk-in shower was powerful, the separate bath a delight, walk-in wardrobe was great. There was nothing to fault. The view as I have said previously was stunning.
What made it even better, we watched every evening the Christmas market come to life. We could sit in the window and watch the stage show, without getting caught in the crowds. It really was magical.
I was glad of this hotel and in the centre of everything, including the Christmas Market, the Opera House and reliable transport.
Not the greatest of cities. I found this hotel very welcoming and I liked my room very much. I was given one complimentary breakfast as I hadn’t booked it, and as it was Christmas – otherwise 15 euros.
This hotel is amongst the best places I have ever stayed at. Their rooms with the terrace (just under the hotel sign) are gorgeous – both from the inside as well as the outside. Inside, the room and bathroom were both spacious and cozy, and the terrace was probably our favourite place for the two nights we stayed here.
Overlooking the square and the Christmas market, surrounded by beautiful buildings, this was our favourite place to relax after a long day of walking / cycling around the city.
