These were without any doubt the most luxurious beautiful incredible rooms any of us have ever stayed in.
The level of absolute luxury is unrivalled,the 4 post beds, the lemon tree in the room , the fabulous toiletries, even some luxury oil to use for your skin if it gets dry from being out in the cold!! Every last detail was thought through. Our fireplace and view onto the christmas markets were just breathtaking!
The staff were so friendly, professional and attentive, and seemed genuinely happy at their work, a pleasure to deal with.

The hotel itself is ‘out of this world’ it oozes such a relaxed atmosphere and is so classy and beautiful also, in particular we loved the bar with the stunning wall art and trees in the room and the large fireplace to sit and enjoy a martini before bed!

We decided to stay in the Nimb due to its proximity to the Tivoli gardens. It is not cheap, but is a beautiful hotel. Our suite was luxurious, decadent and yet stylish and scandi-cool. The kids were given a welcome gift, which went down a treat. The hotel bar is beautiful, and their hot chocolates to die for! The kids used the wrist bands provided by the hotel every day to avail of free rides in the Tivoli gardens – which is wonderfully festive and great fun.

The hotel is beautifully decorated for the festive season. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was good – maybe not quite as good choice as some other 5 Star hotels we have stayed in, but enjoyable nonetheless.

The Hotel is very modern and clean, everybody was friendly and helpful.
it is very convenient to have Tivoli park next to us, the hotel provide us with access bracelets to go to the park everyday, the kids had so much fun.

The location was perfect,we walked around town and made some shopping, there are plenty of Christmas markets close by and the train station is just across the street.

It was hard to choose a hotel in Copenhagen to enjoy the Christmas markets but we settled on the Nimb hotel due to the fact that the Christmas markets were on its doorstep. A wise decision. We did pay a king’s ransom for the pleasure of the convenience, however. The rooms were minimalist and efficient. I couldn’t quite get warm enough.

Location-wise it is right on Tivoli, so you can see people walking around and enjoying themselves until it closes in the evening.

Even then, it is a breathtaking view, with all the lights (and snow in winter).

I wouldn’t hesitate in staying there again. In fact, I would return just to stay there during the Tivoli Christmas Market.

I would recommend the hotel to anyone going to Copenhagen. It is not as cheap as some of the accommodation you might be able to source, but for such a fantastic experience it is well worth it. It certainly made our trip a memorable one.

2. The Square 4* – Hotels Near Copenhagen Christmas Market

Featuring a rooftop terrace, this eco-friendly hotel is situated on Rådhuspladsen, just 200 m from Tivoli Gardens and Copenhagen Central Station. Views of Copenhagen rooftops are featured from the breakfast room and The Lounge rooftop bar.

All rooms at The Square feature minimalistic design, a steamer, a safety box and air conditioning. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a minibar and a writing desk come standard in each room.

Overlooking City Hall Square in downtown Copenhagen, this chic hotel is a 4-minute walk from Tivoli Gardens and an 11-minute walk from the Rundetaarn observatory.

The room was very nice, clean and quiet. The shower was wonderful and the breakfast was fantastic! The front desk people were so nice and helpful too.

The location being at the heart of Copenhagen (at least to us) was very convenient to the Stroget and it’s Christmas markets. There are many shops, restaurants and attractions within just a few blocks of here. I highly recommend The Square.

This hotel is very close to Tivoli Gardens and Grand Central station, yet our room was nice and quiet as we had a room at the back of the hotel. Lovely modern decor and very comfy beds. Friendly staff.

I went for a weekend break to the Christmas markets and thought the hotel was excellently placed for all the major sites-you can easily walk around and don’t need to use public transport to and from the hotel.

I thought it was really good value, considering how central it was.
Tivoli Gardens was the star attraction for me, but also loved the nyhavn area-very pretty with lots of good bars and restaurants.

We came to Copenhagen for the Christmas Markets. The hotel is very modern. The rooms are a good size and the hotel is located in a very convenient area. It is right across from Tivolis and the train station. Very walkable. The hotel staff were very nice.

The bedroom was spacious, very clean and the large bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. The air conditioning and black out curtains made for a very good night’s sleep.

Whilst the weather wasn’t the best the City atmosphere was very festive and felt very safe. Our priority was visiting the Tivoli Gardens and Christmas market. We were not disappointed. The best market I’ve been to.

To be honest not because of the many stalls with their Christmas ornaments and fayre (they are the same all over the world) but the magical way in which the place is set up with countless trees and lights all tastefully done.

For those with children it is a wonderland of Christmas and whilst I’m not one for fair rides they were excellent to watch with very modern and exciting thrill experiences mixed with some great old fashioned ones such as a great steam horse carousel.

You can spend hours here and not really get to enjoy everything or simply wander around in an hour and it’s still worth the small entrance fee.

For people who plan to spend most of their time in the city centre, the location is perfect. You can see Tivoli Gardens and the main train station through the window; it takes only 3 min walk to get there. For people who are getting married in the central city hall we would also recommend to stay in Radisson, it takes 5-10 min walk.

In the area there are lots of bars and restaurants, plenty of Christmas markets were about 10/15 min walk. Shopping area can be found right near the city hall.

We also had breakfast included. The food was tasty, although it remained the same every day.

The selection of food was quite good, continental and Asian variations were offered. Juices were fresh, coffee was nice. The breakfast area was not spacious and in peak hours it was crowded. Many guests had to wait to be seated.

It seemed like more staff and seating were needed. But we still enjoyed our breakfast. If you need more privacy you can either order a room service or come to breakfast before 8am.
