I booked this with a friend for a weekend trip to see the Christmas market and a theatre break.The location couldn’t have been better, being very close to New Street Station, the New Alexandra Theatre and very easy walking distance of the market. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and super-efficient, the twin room that we booked was very clean, the beds comfortable and exactly right for a short stay.

The shower room was small but beautifully clean and the towels provided were fluffy and soft. It was far better than I had expected from a budget hotel and I will certainly stay here again.

Rooms are small but perfect for what you pay! Great location within walking distance of the famous German Christmas market! Lots of pubs nearby! Would definitely come back if in the area.

Hotel is central, a stones throw from the Christmas markets, shops, bars and restaurants.

It is cheap, clean and comfortable. We added a late check out until 1pm for £10 per room.

All the rooms were clean and tidy. The staff on the reception desk were all extremely helpful and greeted us on entry/exit.

Would most definitely use the hotel as it has a great location close the Christmas market, New St station and Broad Street for bars/pubs/clubs.

The hotel is canal side but you have to pay extra for a canal view which we could not afford. We had a deluxe king room which was lovely and clean, spacious, huge wall mounted TV, small fridge with 2 free bottles of water.

It was ideal and I loved the position of the hotel it was close to everything we wanted – the Christmas market, cinema, restaurants, New Street shopping and the station. Perfect.

It is very modern & brilliantly located and provided a fabulous breakfast. The room was tastefully decorated – simple, clean and perfectly functional. However what made our visit were the extremely professional and wonderfully friendly staff (especially those at breakfast).

Not the usual forced friendliness we’re all used to but really cheerful, helpful and warm people.

We liked the location, it really suited us. Less than 10 mins from train station, surrounded by restaurants, canals and high-end shops.

Walks along the canals were brilliant. Saw a heron as a bonus. Lots of narrow boats chugging along.

Convenient for main shopping in Grand Central and Bull Ring. Christmas Market was fun during the weekend when there was more atmosphere.

Hotel met our needs for a short stay. It is geared more towards business users, hence the functional look of interiors.

However I think some tweaking to the facilities will make this into an ideal hotel. Cannot fault the friendliness of the staff.

I stayed here one night when joined a couple of other local friend for the Christmas market. The view from the canal view room is absolutely amazing. Staff are really helpful.

The location is great, 10 min walk to the railway station and the christmas market. Amenities are great! Individually packed, not the thing on the wall. There are bathrobes and slippers as well!

If you would likd to have good hotel just few minutes walk from Christmas Market in December take it. You will feel like at home! Nice clean room, very good equipped kitchenette. Look at the advertising board in your room. Every day You will find something. One evening, I do not remember exact week day, you have at reception complimentary snack and glas of wine. Breakfasts could taste better, but the atmosphere is great and mornings are very busy there.

Very close to the hotel you have lots of shops including Tesco, Primark and others. Hotel is very close to almost attractions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. 2 minutes walk from hotel you have bus and tram stops. 5 minutes and you are in the Central Station.

This hotel is perfect for Christmas markets, going to the bull ring, close to the train station, close to all shops, near the Odeon Cinema.

I parked at Tamworth station £6 per day- bargain. Just ring number on the sign at the car park, pay on your phone and confirm reg by sms- done. Or pay at cash ticket machine.

Stayed in 1106 on 11th floor. We had a kitchen which had a microwave, dishwasher, oven, wine glasses etc. Living area with settee, flat screen TV, desk. Aircon and free WiFi available.

Bedroom 🛏 – bed so comfy, loads of wardrobe space, iron and ironing board available, TV, ensuite shower/bath, amazing view of Birmingham. Immaculately clean, spacious, feels luxurious.

At weekends served between 7.30am – 10.30. Lovely choice of hot and cold breakfast. Hot breakfast or pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurt. You can take your large complimentary tray from your room and collect as much breakfast as you like and take it back to your room.

There is a pantry in the reception area with snacks, ready meals, wine, soft drinks, chocolate, crisps ….available 24/7 from reception.

The apartment was great! Perfectly located near Bullring shopping centre and the German Christmas markets. The interior seemed quite new too and staff quickly checked us in….we were even asked if we would like the highest floor!

The kitchen facilities were great and the rooms are very well maintained. I would totally recommend staying here to anyone visiting Birmingham.

We wanted something relatively close to the markets as we were with our parents (in their 70’s), whilst normally I guess the hotel is just a 10 minute walk to the centre of the market (Victoria Square).

Spent a night at the Staybridge apartments in Birmingham. We were visiting the German Christmas market and a few nice places to eat and drink around the city centre. Reception is via the lift to the 2nd floor. They were helpful and professional. The room we had on the ninth floor faced Corporation street but was nice and quiet.

The kitchen was equipped with the basic requirements one would expect and the bedroom and bathroom were both clean and comfortable. Breakfast was available from 7.30 to 10.30a.m offering traditional english and continental buffet style.

We’d certainly stay here again.
