1. Atlantic Grand Hotel Bremen 4* – Hotels Near Bremen Christmas Market

The hotel is located just a few minutes from the Am Markt Square and thus from the Christmas market. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. There was a secure elevator that only takes you up if you present your keycard. The room was comfortable, large, clean, quiet, and well equipped. The TV was enormous, 58 inches I think.

Breakfast was good, though not inexpensive. There was sufficient parking under the hotel, though not cheap either.

Once we were inside, things got even better when we saw the reception area decorated for the festive season with a huge Christmas tree standing by the elevators.

The room was spotlessly clean & on the quiet side of the hotel overlooking the courtyard with the Alpine Hut bar & restaurant which I believe is only there in the winter months.

We chose not to have breakfast in the hotel primarily due to the myriad of other options available at the Christmas Market.

The hotel was perfectly situated for the main Christmas market with it being a short walk out of the back entrance as well as the Schlachte Magic Christmas Market which is situated on the river bank across the road from the front entrance.

We were able to pop back to the hotel as & when required, it was nice to have that option when the markets got busy.

In summary the hotel & staff were fantastic & we will definitely return to Bremen & the hotel.

We stayed in this Hotel because it is just off the old town Market Square – wow never seen so many major beautiful buildings in a close cluster; a must to see and visit. The Hotel is new, great rooms, we had a Studio with separate Bedroom and has great Gym, Terrace and underground parking.

I cannot recommend enough Bremen – Becks Brewery; Bremen FC; Mercedes Factory Visit to see SL and C Class made.

2. Dorint City-Hotel Bremen 4* – Hotels Near Bremen Christmas Market

International cuisine and free WiFi are offered at this service hotel. It offers a quiet location in Bremen city centre, 500 m from the market place.

The air-conditioned rooms at Dorint City-Hotel Bremen feature city views and a flat-screen TV. All rooms have complimentary tea and coffee, and bathrobes. Tassimo Espresso Machines are featured in some.

A buffet breakfast is available each morning at Hillman’s restaurant, and this comprises a wide range of options. Hanseatic food, light snacks and exotic cocktails are available at Hillmann’s bar that includes a lounge area.

Overlooking Wallanlagen park and the old city walls, this upscale hotel is a 4-minute walk from Bremen Hauptbahnhof Station and 1.5 km from the Messe Bremen congress center.

Excellent location. 10 minutes tram from the airport (tram stops right outside the hotel). 5 minutes walk (with a 5 year old) from the Old town and the reason for our visit, the Christmas market.

This hotel is situated just 2 minutes from Bremen’s main shopping street and was the best location we could find when visiting the fantastic Christmas Market.

We chose this hotel because of its excellent access to the old city center – and therefore the city’s Christmas Market. Its brand name allowed a certain level of service to expect.

From booking to check-out, the hotel and its staff certainly met expectations. Its location is a 10-minute walk from Bremen Hauptbahnhof at one end, and a similar walk to city center. Trams run right in front. Need a quick sandwich at 6:30am? There’s an excellent bakery right opposite. Shopping or dining? Plenty choices nearby.

The hotel staff’s efficiency made our stay worry-free. This includes details as remembering I had hot chocolate for breakfast the day before, extra towels and a set of cutlery in our room each day – and a simple smile and ‘hallo’ each time we pass Reception. And their flexibility for us to check out at an ungodly hour (6am).

This hotel is an established place for quite some time now. Insofar its reputation requires, I’d recommend the Dorint City Bremen to anyone who plans to visit city center.

A 3-minute walk from Bremen Cathedral, this hotel offers free use of its gym and sauna. It also features a stylish atrium bistro, gaming zone and air-conditioned rooms with hot drinks facilities.

The elegant rooms at the 4-star Radisson Blu Hotel Bremen include a modern bathroom and cable TV.

The restaurant and bar in the lobby is the culinary heart of the hotel. The staff pays attention to both the regionality and the quality of the ingredients. Numerous “vegan & vegetarian-friendly” dishes and a breakfast buffer are served here.

Set on the historic Böttcherstraße street, this stylish hotel is a 4-minute walk from the Bremen City Hall and a 5-minute walk from Bremen Cathedral.

Very central hotel especially for Christmas markets. Fantastic breakfast delicious rolls hot from the oven. Lovely coffee frothy and strong.

We loved the bar/restaurant area – cool! And the location was brilliant – on a tram line from the airport, an astonishingly quick ride. AND round the corner from the Christmas market and the riverside.

Stayed here for 5 nights for the Christmas markets. Really enjoyed my second visit. The standard room was clean, modern, quiet and spacious. The bathroom was good too with free standing shower and 2 types of shower head. It was lovely to have opening windows in the room.

The coffee machine was nice to have. We enjoyed the downstairs bar although it was very busy. Breakfast was good. The boiled eggs were perfect inside every time.

Perfect location for the Christmas markets and the historic old town, both the markets and all the major sights are a few minutes walk away.

Hotel itself very smart with excellent front desk staff. Early arrival was accommodated willingly and efficiently.

We stayed here for the weekend whilst visiting the Christmas market. Firstly the hotel is within a two minute walk from the number 6 tram stop, running to and from the airport.

Secondly the hotel itself is just down a side street about a minutes walk away from the market so an excellent base.
First impressions of the hotel were excellent.

Lovely clean entrance from the street with a revolving door opening into a huge lobby . The reception is set off to the left hand side and immediately in front of you is the restaurant and bar..

We had two twin bedded Superior rooms for our family. Each room was identical and extremely clean and neat.

The bathroom provided bath and shower as well as the toilet.

Complimentary toiletries were provided and replenished each day . The only thing missing was dressing gowns and slippers, which were supposed to be provided and would have been nice.

The room had the two beds, a comfy chair and a desk with upright chair. Plus tv and air con/heating. Tea & coffee was also provided with a kettle and mugs .Again these were replenished daily which we loved and much appreciated. Our rooms faced inwards so looked down on the restaurant.

This was great as the location was extremely quiet but they did lack daylight. In winter not a problem but on a sunny summers day this would mean the rooms would be dark.

We did not book breakfast as really the christmas market is an eating experience for us, and we tend to only want a snack for breakfast.

Any other time of the year we would have booked it. It looked and smelt good though.

Would we return? Definitely, a lovely comfortable welcoming hotel.

Friendly staff, great service and we could also leave our bags until we needed to go back to the airport.

The christmas market was lovely I am sure we will be back next year and if so this will be our hotel again.
