Due to this proximity, the rooms are adversely affected by the noise from outside (especially on a Saturday night when the revellers finally went quiet at about 3.30am).

Bed was comfy and bathroom was ok with a nice shower. The thing that makes this hotel is its boutique style, staff and amazing breakfast. Breakfast menu is concise but with all you would need on there, they also had some specials which are freshly made.
Extras on the counter top which you can help yourselves too. Very central location and only 5 minutes walk to shopping area (and Christmas markets).
There lots of bars in the neighbourhood, as well as the Christmas market next door, which might be noisy in high season, especially if windows are opened but we didn’t notice much noise during the night.
It has an excellent location in the old city and is very handy for the harbour and the bars of nearby King Street. We were upgraded to a King Size room which was hardly that but a decent size and was clean and comfortable, however the TV was unwatchable due to poor reception, a bulb had blown in one of the bedside lights and Wifi was unusable. It was quiet and we slept well but didn’t have breakfast. A good option for an overnight stay in a central location.
