The hotel is so close to the Train Station that it takes one major hassle out of a short stay in Cardiff. You can unload your suitcase within minutes of getting off the train, Check-in was a breeze, with a really pleasant and efficient receptionist on duty. Room very clean and tidy, with all essential facilities.

A really short walk will get you to Cardiff’s shopping area (and Christmas market when there). Lots of pubs and bars nearby, but not on the doorstep. No noise disturbance whatsoever.

The staff were extremely friendly at reception and at the bar. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, because we couldn’t justify £60 for 3 days. We would walk to Costa which is about a 5 minute and have tea and toast there instead, but at the end of the day it all comes down to preference.

The hotel was spotless and hand sanitizers were pretty much everywhere. The rooms are not cleaned during your stay so if you do run out of towels or need more tea/coffee etc the ask at reception and they will send them to your room ASAP. Just place your old towels outside your room.

The location of this hotel is probably the best thing. You are a minutes walk from the main entrance of Cardiff Central Train Station. The city centre is 2 minute walk across a busy main road. There are plenty of restaurants and bars close by.

The room was on the the 9th floor, loads of light through the huge windows, plenty of space,big tv,big bed, tea and coffee facilities and plenty of storage. There was a great view of the Cardiff city streets too.What a lovely room we’d been given.

To be picky, the bathroom didn’t have the same impact as the room . I’m not sure the shower over the bath and very dim lighting belonged in an “executive room “, but to be fair, it was spotlessly clean and everything was fine, it didn’t take the shine off how pleased we were.

Each room at this hotel is air conditioned and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a seating area for your convenience. You will find bathrobes and free toiletries in the bathrooms.

Modern, clean hotel in the city centre. Located in one of Cardiff’s beautiful old arcades – right in the centre of the city surrounded by shops, near the castle and currently near the Christmas markets! No parking though NCP car parking is 5min walk from the hotel (£19 per 24hrs with the hotel discount). The hotel appears new as everything is spotless.

The decoration is modern and quirky, the reception area and the room were both really nice.

Loved the blue lamb on the phone in reception! Had breakfast one morning, expensive (£15 each) and though the restaurant (Marco Pierre White) was lovely there are lots of nearby eating places which are better value.

The room was cosy with really nice Welsh tea/coffee and toiletries, there was even a couple of Welsh chocolates. The room was comfortable and dark/silent at night.

Would recommend and would book again for a city break.

A nice place to stay in a wonderful location. Staff was friendly and the rooms are clean and nice. Good bed. Decent restaurant and bar.

If you go in November or December you’re right in a great location for the Christmas market.

Had a very enjoyable stay, friendly, clean,convenient for city centre shopping ,tourism, ideal for our visit for the Cardiff winter wonderland and christmas market. Lovely breakfast.

Rooms were spacious with plenty of cupboard space.
