The room was decorated to a high standard and the en suite was very clean. The hotel is located on a very quiet street but within a 5 minute walk of the riverside and all the main shops. Our visit was to see the Christmas market which did not disappoint, though we wished it could have been larger.

Breakfast buffet in the morning was fresh and never ran out of anything as the staff were very attentive. Would definitely recommend staying. Just one note, there is no parking at the hotel but parking is very close by.

Ideally situated right on the Market in the centre of town. Staff are friendly and helpful and speak excellent English.

The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and full of interesting photos and artefacts of the old days of cinema. The room was large and clean and well-tended.

The room was quite large, clean, and comfortable. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on!

We stayed at this motel not far from the City Center so we could visit the city during the Christmas Market.

It is a pretty good idea but there are no frills at all. There was not even a bath mat to use. No food, not bar, nothing but a bed and a shower. For the two days we were there it was just fine.

I was very surprised that this hotel was rated 2 Star – It was clean, quiet and cosy and I’ve seen worse 3 Star hotels! I’m assuming the rating is based on the fact that there are few facilities – small lobby with just a reception desk, no restaurant for breakfast, no coffee/tea making facilities in bedrooms.

However, the staff are SUPER friendly and helpful. I was travelling with a disabled partner, and they really went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after.

The location is fantastic – just metres away from the town centre and shops. The street is lined with restaurants offering international cuisine, all within walking distance.

I will definitely stay at this hotel again and I highly recommend it.
