This hotel exceeded our expectation for an Ibis hotel. Its room size is big enough and comfortable enough. We stayed here with our family and friends for 6 days. The location was very convenient and few minutes away from the Queen Victoria Market and a comfortable distance to the tram and train stations.
The hotel personnel were extra helpful especially in helping us celebrate our Christmas eve in the hotel. Despite the skeletal personnel they had for the holidays, they made sure that we enjoyed our celebration.
It is a walking distance to Queen Victoria Market and Mcdonald’s fast food restaurant. Room was clean and quiet. WIFI was provided, each day 24 hours with unlimited data. We had satisfactory stay overall, I.e. smooth checking in and out and helping booking of Skybus which purchased online before arriving Melbourne.
For dinner we were privileged to experience a gastronomic delight with lucky the master chef at the helm in the kitchen. His culinary skill in combining the freshest of ingredients, highlighting subtle dressings and amazingly cooked mains tantalise and excite the palette beyond belief. Lucky truely has a natural talent for showcasing the best of Melbourne produce at a fraction of high end establishment rates.
Breakfast was buffet style and although not as expansive as higher end hotels the spread was excellent and held us well for a big day ahead of sightseeing in Melbourne.
Once again exceptionally looked after by the “the kid”(awesome coffee) and the lovely “Sunny” on the breakfast shift.
The room was quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean.
This hotel is easy to get to from anywhere in the cbd with tram links a stone’s throw away.
So much so on the following night although we had moved hotels to Collins st we still decided to venture back to the ibis for dinner and we saw some people in for dinner that we had recommended from the other hotel. Always a high endorsement.

Our location provides easy access to shopping and entertainment precincts; legal, medical, education and finance districts and the annual Christmas Market at Queen Victoria Market.
Our room was very good for the price, with lots of natural light through big windows. The bed was very comfortable with crisp linen. Kitchen had all we needed. The Happy Hour (5pm to 6.30pm) was great value, 2 for 1 on beers, wine etc ( must be the same drink). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well positioned for public transport (free CBD trams) and Flagstaff Gardens train station. Close to Victoria Market and supermarkets. We would stay again if in Melbourne.
Great location to do shopping at Victoria Market early Christmas Eve morning. Kids did use the pool but it is not very inviting area.
The room was quiet and fairly spacious, beds comfortable.
We spent a night here just before Christmas. It is a fantastic location for visiting the Queen Vic Markets and walking distance to Melbourne Central.
My children loved the themed bedroom and we all enjoyed the pool.
The staff were extremely helpful.
The apartment was clean, modern and spacious. The bed was amazing comfortable, and the only downside was that with the TV in the living area there was no way to watch TV while relaxing on the bed. The pool and spa area was quite busy during our stay, but was of a very high standard.
The hotel is close to the Queen Victoria Markets, and the number 55 tram line. There is also a train station close by, and it’s only one stop to Southern Cross Railway station.
The buffet breakfast was serviceable, if a little lacking in variety. The bar offers a happy hour between 5-6:30pm, which we were “happy” to take advantage of.
The staff were all friendly and helpful.
We’d be more than happy to stay at the Pegasus Apart’Hotel the next time that we find ourselves in Melbourne.

Spent Christmas with our family in Melbourne and stayed at Mantra in Little Bourke. Very convenient as it is just walking distance to trams, Christmas Market, Chinatown for cheap eats and Melbourne central; literally straight ahead. Staff are also very friendly.
