Toronto, the capital of the province of Ontario, is a major Canadian city along Lake Ontario’s northwestern shore. It’s a dynamic metropolis with a core of soaring skyscrapers, all dwarfed by the iconic, free-standing CN Tower. Toronto also has many green spaces, from the orderly oval of Queen’s Park to 400-acre High Park and its trails, sports facilities and zoo.

Great place to stay in Downtown Toronto. Close to all the action and events. Had a Wedding at the Distillery District and an NBA game the next day. Hotel does not look like much from the outside but was immaculate inside with great staff and great service.

A very historical building from the early 1900’s but renovated to modern standards. Highly recommended although a bit pricey but comparable to any big city experience.

Another plus to this hotel other than the elegant features and great service was that it was central to just about all of the important landmarks and tourist attractions in Toronto. Just about everything was within walking distance, and most attractions (hockey hall of fame, CN Tower, museums, Lawrence market, Distillery District, etc.) were no more than a 20 minute walk away.

Usually after breakfast we would walk and enjoy the sights and come back in the late afternoon for drinks and snacks. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Toronto and hope we can visit again.

Wanted a hotel close to Distillery district and this hotel exceeded our expectations. Very clean and luxurious. Also very close to st Lawrence market.

The gym was well equipped and very clean. We loved the location

Close to St Lawrence Market and the Distillery District and very quiet on the weekend since it is more of a business area.

This was our second stay at Le Germain Hotel Toronto Maple Leaf Square in downtown Toronto. We came to see the Christmas Market in the Distillery District and used the hotel as our starting point for seeing the market and other sights.

As on our previous stay, this is an excellent hotel with attentive staff and very nice accommodations. Breakfasts were excellent and staff there provided great service! We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. We especially want to note that the concierge service was outstanding.

This was one of our all time favorite hotels and we travel quite a bit.

The rooms were beautiful, large with modern finishes such as the large rain shower, nespresso machine, true black out blinds, and bluetooth compatible equipment. But what we can’t say enough about was the friendly and always helpful and attentive staff.

Also the location is spot on. Literally right next to Scotia Arena and you can see Rogers Stadium, and the CN Tower from the front door.

The waterfront is just a few blocks away We walked to the Distillery District which was probably about 1 mile but a nice walk and you can also rent bikes which are all around the city. Over all we would 110% recommend this hotel.

The location is fantastic; it’s a 10 minute walk from the Distillery District and the Eaton Centre.

It’s in old Toronto, 1 minute from the incredible St Lawrence Market.

The staff are truly excellent, very friendly.
Breakfast is the usual free HIE hot and cold selection; really good.

The hotel is easy to find. We easily walked to the market, the ferry landing and the Distillery district. The room was well appointed, comfortable beds and plenty of USB/electrical outlets.

The shower water pressure was weak, a common issue in hotels, but it got the job done.

The garage has a low 6’1″ clearance. The breakfast in the morning was nice, nothing special, but it put something in our belly before heading out to explore the city.

The room is right, but fit our needs…a clean place to rest and regroup after visiting Old Town, CN Tower, aquarium, St. Lawrence Market.

Within walking distance for Old Town sites, but we did drive to the Entertainment District.

A bit of a walk to the Distillery District, but doable.
