Novotel Sevilla is a 4 star hotel located in Seville, close to the historic city centre and the major monuments (la Giralda and the Cathedral), close to the airport and the Santa Justa AVE railway station.
The hotel enjoys easy access to tourist attractions and the central business areas.
This hotel was a nice place to stay but had nothing very unique.
Even though it was a lot nicer than most Novotel hotels, it felt a bit sterile and lacked some character. It did have a great breakfast service with a large variety of fruit juices and food in a cozy seating area.
The pool bar was a nice addition to the rooftop pool which was very refreshing during the hottest times of the day, where pool towels are available for €3. The decking around the pool was half in the shade and half in the sun with many sun loungers.
The bedrooms were spacious and had an office area, a fridge and a safe. There was a very luxurious communal area downstairs which was never too full. The hotel itself was in a great location with lots of bars nearby but was quite far from the old town of Seville.
This hotel was in a perfect location for Seville old town and also from the airport. Easy transportation from the airport by the airport bus and just a few metres from the bus stop, which is completely walkable with suitcases. The reception was unstructured and friendly.
The staff were full of knowledge and gave us a map of the city to use during our stay. The room was good and large with ample places for suitcases. The bathroom was of a good size and had a bath as well as a shower.
Our stay here was pleasant and relaxing and to walk into the old town only took 10 minutes. Great hotel and we would come back.
We chose a Deluxe room, and were rewarded with a massive room, freshly decorated, stylishly minimal and great shower room. The room also included a free minibar (beers and soft drinks) that were re-stocked daily. Our room over-looked the foortball stadium, which added a nice buzz, and even on match night, we couldn’t hear a thing. The only downside was a horrible toilet-type smell in the 8th floor corridor, but thankfully this didn’t travel into the room.
This is a big, busy hotel and this reflected in the 3 lifts at peak times being really busy, and you’d have to wait several minutes for a lift with space. Staff were efficient and friendly, so even when there was a queue to check-in, the queue moved quickly.
Next to the hotel is a modern shopping centre with many chain stores, and also a stop for the bus to the airport.
It’s less than 20 mins to walk to the old town or the train station, so while you are out in a more residential area, it’s not too far out.

The rooms are spacious, clean adequate amenities and good and clean bathroom. The breakfast had large variety but at peak times very difficult to get a table. It is situated in front of shopping mall and walking distance to the stadium. One can take a short taxi ride to the old town.
They have intelligent elevators – you press the floor number outside and it directs the first available elevator to stop at your floor. Overall comfortable stay.
Though not in the city center, this hotel is located near restaurants, the soccer stadium and a mall across the street. We were on a tour with Gate 1 and there were several tours staying at the hotel.
Very nice lobby bar and good breakfast with lots of choices though laid out in an inefficient way. It’s a short taxi ride into the old part of the city and could probably be walked. The rooms are modern and relatively spacious with nice bathrooms. AC was easily adjusted.
Fabulous hotel, great location, near to El Corte Ingles, Sevilla Stadium and the shopping centre, only a twenty minute walk to the old town but the taxis are very cheap.
Seville and this hotel are beautiful and we would love to come back again very soon.

The elegant rooms open to the courtyard, and feature parquet floors. All provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars and safes. Upgraded rooms add balconies. Room service is available, and kids age 12 and under stay with a parent at no extra cost.
There’s an airy restaurant with a terrace. A charming Andalusian-style courtyard features red and white arches, and a colored glass roof. Breakfast, parking and bike rentals are offered.
The location of this delightful hotel in the traffic-free streets of the old town is excellent, being about 5-10 minutes’ stroll in any direction from the main sights and about 15 mins to Triana on other side of river. It is literally 2 mins from San Salvador where you could by a combined ticket to include the cathedral too and thus avoid long queues to enter the cathedral. Plenty of bars and restaurants around to choose from. The breakfasts were amazing with a good choice from the usual continental fare of rolls, bread, meats/cheese and very large selection of fresh fruit.
The room was lovely and clean and the reception staff friendly and helpful.
Good position in the old town, within walking distance of all main attractions. We found eating out very well priced. I can recommend the San Marco restaurant, not the cheapest but good food and service.
Three wonderful nights, old modernized boutique hotel in the center of town. Within walking distance of the Cathedral and other sight.
