The room was cozy, the bed & pillows were comfortable and the washroom, although a little small, was adequate.
Reception was very friendly, as were the people at the Reign bar although the piano & guitar players were a bit too loud for such a small intimate bar.
The breakfast service was excellent and the selection of hot and cold food was great. This is our second stay at the Royal York and we will be back.
It was also a great location from Union Train Station and the Christmas Market.
We booked a couple of nights here to catch the Christmas Market and a play. Surprisngly it was the best value downtown, so we took the cheapest room available.
A great choice! Updated room, impeccably clean and although one of the smallest bathrooms ever, totally comfortable. Excellent customer service as always.
The lobby is stunning although since they have now merchandised every square inch into bars/lounges, not as grand as in the past.
Booked for one night to go to the Christmas Market in town. We were upgraded to the Gold level.
The room, food and amenities were all excellent. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer surprise. The festive atmosphere at the hotel made for a very memorable stay.
Fantastic location to the Toronto Christmas Market. Standard King Room with excellent amenities! Our room was very clean & comfortable. The in door pool was small but clean. Too many little people to relax by the pool. Sauna was a bonus. Great quality for the price.

Good for airport access to Toronto Island Airport, not Toronto Pearson Airport.
Lovely hotel, just starting to undergo some improvements. New chairs were being installed into the rooms as we were leaving and I believe the corridors are being updated too. We were given a larger room as we were there for 5 nights.
It was fab, corner room seating area with large TV and fireplace. Huge bed and large bathroom with walk in shower. Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge in the room too.
Coffee pods and bottles of water were replaced daily. Loved our stay, couldn’t fault it at all. Would return in a heartbeat. If you’re wanting to stay on the harbourfront, this is ideal. Only 5 min walk to the CN Tower.
