1. Grand Hotel Trento 4* – Hotels Near Trenton Christmas Market

Grand Hotel Trento is an impressive elliptic building in the city centre, just off Piazza Dante. It offers a gourmet restaurant, and elegant rooms with wooden furniture.

Each room is soundproofed and comes with soft carpeted floors and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some rooms are more sophisticated, with prized furniture and marble bathroom.

The Grand Hotel’s Bernardo Clesio restaurant is open to the public. It serves the finest local cuisine with an excellent selection of Italian wines.

Across the road from a park, this upscale hotel with rationalist architecture is a 3-minute walk from Trento train station and 7 minutes on foot from the castle complex Castello del Buonconsiglio.

Our room was nice and comfortable. Conditions were very good: new furniture and amenities, fast internet, no glitches, hot water and strong pressure. Very quiet.

We didn’t have to check out the spa. Very near the train and bus station, just in front a nice park with the Christmas markets. The center of town is about 4 minutes away on foot.

From the moment we arrived in trento everything was beautiful. The town was the perfect stay for our two nights although admittedly we should have stayed longer. The Grand Hotel Trento was everything a hotel should be. The room was very clean, very nice, and the view was spectacular. Nothing but mountains in the distance on either side. Breakfast was exactly on par for what I and my vegetarian fiancee needed.

The staff was super amazing and even told us where to go to enjoy the holiday festivities. Btw Trento Italy, is the perfect stop between Christmas and Epiphany if you want to taste some good food at the Christmas markets and enjoy a beautiful small town historic atmosphere!

Beautiful clean rooms and overall great experience. Location ideal for walking around the city.

We went for the Christmas market and were not disappointed.

2. Boutique Exclusive B&B 4* – Hotels Near Trento Christmas Market

A luxurious design B&B set just off Trento’s Piazza Duomo, Boutique Exclusive B&B offers free Wi-Fi throughout and rooms with wellness amenities. The cathedral is 100 m away on foot.

Uniquely decorated rooms at the Boutique Exclusive B&B come with satellite TV, air conditioning, and a minibar.

A sweet and savory breakfast is provided daily, including croissants, cold cuts and scrambled eggs. At the Golden Eagle Street Bar, a modern, informal lounge bar, you can enjoy aperitifs and meals.

Trento Station is 650 m from the property, while the Buonconsiglio Castle is reachable on foot in around 8 minutes.

Overlooking the Trento Cathedral square, and a 9-minute walk from the Museo Castello del Buonconsiglio, this trendy hotel with an art focus is also a 7-minute walk from Trento train station.

Warmly decorated rooms feature eclectic touches such as colorful murals or decorative tree trunks, and offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs/DVD players, sound systems and minibars. Upgraded rooms add terraces, Roman saunas, whirlpool tubs and separate sitting areas. Room service is available.

Breakfast is available for a fee. There’s also a coffee shop, a lounge and an art gallery.

Excellent location, almost beside the Duomo, near Christmas market and square. Friendly owner and staff. Warm welcome – we were served red wine and finger food! Great Ferrari suite on entire floor – enjoyed the Jacuzzi and sauna options, and lounge area.

Large bathroom. Good sky TV options – Italian and English language. Breakfast was alright, owner could consider providing the option of omelette in addition to current hard/soft boiled eggs.

This hotel deserves its great ratings and more. There are less than 20 rooms and my room (single) was very nice. Not huge, but not cramped at all. The service is very personal both at the hotel and the restaurant/sidewalk caffe that they own. Great coffee and really tasty food.

I had 2 great salads that were obviously well prepared and had very fresh ingredients. Service was OUTSTANDING!! Parking was painless. I left my car parked on the street across from the hotel, they took my key and took care of the rest.

The location can’t be beat…right on the main square, so the view from my window was like a postcard with the historic square and the beautiful mountains in the background.

The room was also very quiet….the windows must be really well insulated.

This wonderful hotel is the antithesis of a large impersonal chain style hotel. If you are just looking for a huge fancy lobby with lots of bellhops, etc., this is not it.

If you want a really nice place with lots of charm, style, warmth and great people…IT DOESN’T GET ANY BETTER.

3. Torrione Trento 3* – Hotels Near Trento Christmas Market

Providing free WiFi, Torrione Trento offers rooms in Trento, a 9-minute walk from MUSE and 200 m from University of Trento. Guests can enjoy breakfast at the property, or have a drink at the bar.

All air conditioned and soundproofed, rooms at the guest house are complete with a flat screen TV, coffee/tea maker and parquet floors. Guests can also enjoy views of the city.

Torrione Trento is 350 m from Piazza Duomo, and a few steps from Trento Christmas Market.

Surrounded by restaurants and bars, this unpretentious bed-and-breakfast in a 16th-century tower is 10-minutes’ walk from the stately Buonconsiglio Castle Museum and a 13-minute walk from the Trento train station.
