We stayed Friday and Saturday night here the weekend before Christmas. It was remarkably quiet for the time of year and location nearby the fantastic central market, Christmas Market and La Lonja.

We sometimes stay at the Vincci Palace but preferred this location. The hotel itself is newly built and has access to underground parking direct from the premises.

Prices were reasonable for the room and staff very helpful. There’s a plunge pool and sun terrace on the roof which is nice. Rooms are average size but well designed and finished.

The room isn’t huge but perfectly adequate and well equipped with a chair and table, TV (though only one English channel which was news), comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities and mini bar and safe.

The bathroom was a good size and towels lovely and white and fresh and big! The Shower although lovely didn’t drain away quickly and had a habit of flooding the bathroom. But mostly fantastic air conditioning so couldn’t wait to return to the hotel after a days sightseeing.

The rooftop pool and bar is very nice and again very welcome in the heat of the Valencian sun! The pool although not huge is deep enough to have a bit of a swim in and wade around to cool off (although when we were there a couple of girls had lilos in the pool which shouldn’t be allowed).

The pool bar was great and if it wasn’t staffed you could just call and somebody would come up. The Agua d’Valencia is very nice!

! The hotel is so central you can see the central market from the room and only 5 mins to the cathedral and main square (where the tourists buses go from) and right by the town hall square.

Lots of bars and restaurants nearby and a well stocked supermarket a 1 minute walk away. Really can’t fault this hotel and would definitely recommend although not to too many people as want to keep it a secret!

Everything was spotlessly clean, the furnishings were basic but reasonably new. The kitchen had a microwave/grill and a small 2 ring ceramic hob. Not that we’d gone to cook a ten course banquet, it was more than enough to do light snacks or breakfast. My only complaint was that there was no surface cleaner or washing up liquid / dishcloths provided. And the tea towel was tiny.

The housekeeper came every day (except Sunday) to clean and make the beds. Towels were changed every couple of days. The air con heated the place very quickly, we only needed to put it on for ten minutes or so and the place was lovely and warm.

The apartments are right in the centre of the old city and so really easy to get around. Lots of very good restaurants and bars right on your doorstep. There was a small Sicilian cafe just round the corner that did amazing pastries called cannoli. Try them.

Would use these apartments again in the future.

The apartment was clean and just the right size for 2 (apartment no. 12 on first floor). Everything to see in Valencia is in walking distance (central market, the ceramics museum, shops, cafe bars, restaurants, old town. And you can walk or cycle to the Museum of Arts and Sciences. And don’t forget to go to the department store El Corte Ingles where you will find a fantastic supermarket in the basement.

The taxi driver took us from the airport right to the door at Gascons 4 which was great considering that we arrived after midnight and it was our first time in the city. I intend to return in the future, but perhaps book the apartment with a terrace.
