Legends Hostel Rome
First time in Rome for the derby Roma-Lazio and due to the fact it was high season, another excellent hostel was fully booked. And Legend on the only good option remained.
Location:Via Curtatone 12, located within a five-minute walk from Termini train station. The hostel in situated on a second floor of old building. If you have many luggages can be hard with it climbing the stair because the building has no elevator. The area is big enough, not too close to the dirty Termini Station.
Atmosphere : nothing special to be honest. The hostel has like 3-4 rooms, with a small kitchen and that’s all. No place where to hang out and meet fellow travellers.
Cleanliness & Rooms : smalls hostel room I have ever stayed. I was accommodated in the 6 bed room but to be honest that was a 3 person room. Very crowded with no space where to put your luggage. Bathroom was located next to the room and I would say the room was quite steamy after someone took a shower. Bathroom not that clean.
Security: not that impressed. Anything could have happened. Fortunately, nothing bad happened.
Services and prices: Basic hostel services (maps, advices, etc.) and the staff was friendly enough. The 6 bedroom starts from 12 Euro – to be honest a great price for Rome. But breakfast is not included. And to be honest as well, Rome does not have the best hostels in the world.
Recommend it : 6/10.

The room is closed during cleaninghours from 10 am and on to a while after noon… But I was out all day so no problem for me.

Placed conveniently near the Termini train station, Legends is a cozy hostel with extremely helpful and friendly staff, all of whom speak English well. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, the sheets are changed regularly and every bed has its own electricity socket. I enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely choose it again for my next visit. My only problem with the place (or rather, the room) was a nearby restaurant which was quite noisy in the evenings, but the disturbance never lasted into the night.
