Mdm Luxury Rooms Guesthouse

Maybe sometime you need a quiet place to stay. You want tired of hostels and shared rooms and you something clean, nice and to have your own room.

So, if you are looking for some things I described above, stop looking and read this review about the Mdm Luxury Rooms Guesthouse in Rome.

Location: Via Sicilia 141 Rome, not far from Termini station but close to Villa Borghese Area in a quiet neighbourhood and just outside the craziness of the main tourist spots – an oasis  of silence.

Atmosphere: Being a place more like a hotel, the place does not have the spark of a hostel but has its own unique atmosphere.

Cleanliness & Rooms: Rooms are very big, breakfast included and the highlight is that it is delivered to bed in the morning. You will definitely feel like a street in Rome.

Security – nothing to worry about this aspect.

Services and prices: Breakfast is included and as I mentioned before, delivered to bed each morning; what a treat! Prices start from 30 euro per person (deluxe double room) and 22 euro for the 4 bed private ensuite.

Recommend it : 8,5/10.

Some reviews from other travellers who stayed at Mdm Luxury Rooms Guesthouse Rome.

Alan writes: Very local to the Vatican and other attractions, very clean with good understanding of English and all the comforts you need when away from home and also air conditioning in rooms ,I also thought the old fashioned lift was lovely, towels provided as well as shampoo and shower gel and hair dryer and the TV channels were great . But overall what a great service from Ronald at reception, he’s friendly and always smiling and great for advice and the service from him compares to some 5* hotels I’ve stayed in so thanks again Ronald keep up the good work I’m sure some bigger chains will come calling soon Honeymoon sweet.

Other user says: You have to remember it’s not a hotel; it’ a guesthouse/rooms. the rooms are small but clean. The place is quiet and well placed for touring the Vatican and an easy to use metro is on the corner as are a few really good moderately priced restaurants. Don’t expect showers not to leak on the floor and the wooden closet was to warped to close and there was only one hanger. People at the desk were very friendly and doubled as housekeepers. Their reservation system is faulty and the pre-paid reservation through Expedia wasn’t received properly but all was worked out. Elevator was a tiny, quaint, self-operated lift with two small French doors and a larger outer screened door. We didn’t dislike it but I don’t think it deserved the 4 stars given by Expedia.
