There are so many places to see and things to experience, it’s hard to make a list of everything, there is always something exciting around the corner! Cali is more than just Hollywood and palm trees, so here is a list of the most interesting activities to try out in California!

Hollywood walk of fame and Hollywood sign

Let’s face it, California has a lot of famous symbols, but one of the most recognisable ones are the Hollywood walk of fame and the gigantic Hollywood sign that can be seen from miles away! These two are tourist hot spots, and worth seeing up close and personal – it’s tied to film history and the iconic actors, directors, and celebrities in general who made an impact with their careers!

There are so many Hollywood tours, it’s definitely something to consider when visiting California, especially for movie buffs!

Alcatraz tour

There is no other prison as iconic as Alcatraz, and you can see it up close and personal! Located in the San Francisco bay area, people can take part in the Alcatraz tour, allowing them to go on the Alcatraz island and learn more about the history and justice of America.

If California can offer anything, it’s endless fun all year round! The nightlife is always booming, with festivals and concerts always being an option, going to a local gig might be a better experience! This is a great way to learn about the underground scene, and enjoy the surf or skater scene!

California, specifically Los Angeles, offers so many interesting shops – from large shopping malls to local shopping districts and flea markets. There is something for everyone, one of the most famous streets, Rodeo Drive is where all the designer stores are located while downtown L. A is where the fashion district is located! When traveling to Los Angeles, make sure you have a budget in mind!

It can be hectic and loud, or relaxing and chill – it all depends on what you need at the moment! There is something for everyone at the end of the day, so you won’t feel a second of boredom!
