Service is friendly. Our room was a reasonable size, but we booked a “large” room to make sure of having a little elbow room. Overall this is a good place to stay and for Copenhagen, at a reasonable price.
Very easy to reach from the airport, only a few minutes walk from the metro station.
The (single) rooms are quite small, but cozy. It is not fancy (especially not the bathrooms), but the bed was very comfortable and definitely perfect for a short stay. The room was clean. Breakfast (continental) was great, and the staff friendly.
Unlike other reviewers, I find the price reasonable considering the excellent location. Copenhagen is not a cheap city (just like most European capitals), and that needs to be taken into consideration – if the rooms had been larger and more modern, the price would have been very different.
The one thing I did not like was the carpeted floors in the rooms – it would have been much nicer and more hygienic with wooden floors, but I suppose it is less noisy for people on the floor below with the carpet.

Without exception every member of staff was friendly and genuinely ‘can do’ and helpful. Bedrooms simple and well maintained and comfortably fitted out in a Scandie style. Breakfast buffet is excellent and a late night burger from the ‘Bark’ bar and restaurant in the atrium was good. Minor gripe is that parts of the hotel are over heated and it can be stuffy, bedroom had no opening windows for fresh air.
The hotel is part of an office tower and all the better for it, as it shares a planted spacious atrium. It’s just a 5 minute walk to a large shopping centre which has a good selection of restaurants for cheaper eats.
Located in a corporate, business park setting, the Crown Plaza feels far removed from the touristy and quaint center city of Copenhagen. This said, the hotel itself is modern and the rooms are spacious by European standards. Adjacent to the same Metro stop, is a large indoor shopping mall that includes a cinema, grocery store, a smattering of restaurants and a food court.
The hotel is also a short trip away from the Airport and a shuttle bus is available that serves the hotel and one additional nearby hotel.
Other than the Mall, there is nothing else noteworthy within walking distance.
The room itself was functional and tastefully decorated with modern, minimalist type furnishings.
The bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp. The window blinds provided good room darkening effect. There are a half dozen or so English language channels on the TV which was a perk. The bathroom is reasonably large with a walk-in type shower enclosure.
Water pressure is acceptable. The room included a small refrigerator but the unit’s cooling function was limited and as a result it was not all that effective.
