Muslim Friendly Hotels Prague
The Czech Republic has a small and relatively well-integrated Muslim community counting over 11,000 people, who make up a mere 0.1 percent of the population. Most Czech Muslims are Arabs who came here to study in the 1970s and 1980s from countries such as Libya, Iraq, Syria and Egypt
A Mediterranean restaurant, located in the center of Prague, has a great variety of dishes, cooked and served by the traditional recipes. All of the meals are 100% halal, and you can enjoy them during Ramadan! You can either pick it up from the restaurant or order it via Eurobest delivery.
Other Islamic countries such as Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Oman and Brunei continue to be popular with Muslim tourists. Among non-OIC countries, Singapore, Thailand, the UK, Japan and Taiwan remain the top five respectively, but show improved scores on the index.

I stayed here just recently, their location is GREAT, it’s quite nearby to the Old City Square. Probably only 10-15 minutes walking distance. The room is small but quite comfortable considering their location, so far their TV screen is the biggest one in my whole traveling journey, they have quite good choices and varieties in their breakfast, and their staffs pretty helpful.
The only suggestion that I can make, maybe the hotel can give more choices in the breakfast for them whose only eat halal or kosher. Since I’m not eating pork and seafood anymore, it’s quite harder for me when traveling in Western area, but it’s still manageable.
And be careful if you wandering around, they have two hiltons nearby. Just make sure which one that you stayed.
I appreciated the staff attitude and the reactivity each time we had special needs. We had some special request in term of food as some attendees need vegan or muslim food. We had immediate positive answer with smile.
This hotel is conveniently located near the Powder Tower and a convenient distance to both the Old Town and Wenceslas Squares. The rooms are decent, clean, modern and well kept. The staff were friendly throughout and the breakfast at the Zinc restaurant had a decent selection with an egg station…the staff at breakfast were always friendly and efficient, the executive lounge was small and often was unable to accommodate all guests who were re-directed to the bar area to enjoy similar with a voucher, Parking is on the expensive side but the hotel is located without having to drive through the narrower streets to access.
Overall we enjoyed our 6 days stay immensely – yes, the pool and gym could be bigger, but were not the primary reasons for choosing a hotel.

Iron Gate Hotel & Suites offers 48 unique rooms and suites, each with a different lay out, view and decor. This beautiful landmark, set in a privacy of inner courtyard with unforgettable atmosphere, is certainly one of the hidden gems in Prague. Most rooms and suites are decorated with original 14th-18th century frescoes or wooden painted ceilings that were carefully renovated and nowadays are one of the hotel’s unique features.
Some Royal Suites are even with 2 bathrooms and jacuzzi. All rooms and suites are unique – you should come more than once to enjoy the breathtaking atmosphere of all.
This lovely Hotel is perfectly placed for the centre of the Old Town, being less than a couple of minutes from the Square with the Astronomical Clock and in easy walking distance from many of the other ‘must see’ sights of the City – not to mention some amazing shopping opportunities. It was a complete oasis of calm and peacefulness after hours spent wandering the cobbled streets of the City. Perhaps a bit old fashioned and ‘fussy’ for some, but it does have all the modern amenities you could need. There was a wide age range of residents while we were there, including young families. There is disabled access to the restaurant and the breakfast room, and a lift to all floors.
All the staff were friendly and welcoming – and very helpful as well. Although it is within easy walking distance of hordes of eating places (including Hooters, KFC, Burger King and Pizza Hut if you need a fast food fix!), I would really recommend eating at their own Deer Restaurant at least once. Fairly expensive, but top quality ingredients, great presentation and service – and some desserts truly worthy of Instagram photos…. and it all tastes great as well! The pleasant courtyard area was ideal for a light brunch or lunch, or for just relaxing in with coffee or a drink.
Lovely continental breakfast spread; cold meats, cold boiled eggs, selection of cheeses, fruit , vegetables, bread, rolls and croissants – but the hot food was disappointing. The ‘sausages’ were small frankfurters, and the ‘bacon’ was smoked ham which was inevitably cooked beyond almost all recognition or redemption! The scrambled egg was nice though!
I would certainly recommend it as a great place to stay – and great value for its’ location.
Only issue is that it is in a pedestrian area and motor access is controlled; so taxis need to either drop you off at the top of the road and you walk the 100 yards or so to the hotel – or you buzz them and someone will come up to lower the bollard.
