It is pricey considering all of the factors, but worth every penny 🙂

Great facilities, restaurants and staff. The room was exceptional. Big room. Quiet. Centrally located in Singapore. Nice breakfast spread, especially for Muslim tourists.

Hotel is very good and perhaps friendly even to our Muslim friends as food is carefully selected. Rooms are excellent very clean very neat pleasant smell orderly.

Internet could be improved in terms of speed and universal connectivity and perhaps the hotel can consider auto login during duration of stay, not needing to do again login everyday. Overall this is a very good hotel.

The hotel is in a great location.
Walking distance to MRT, Orchard Road and shopping malls.

For muslim, it is a muslim friendly hotel.
Royal Plaza serves halal food for breakfast.
And the choices of food is great too.

For Muslim it is very convenience since the Hotel provide all necessary things for praying including the time table for Sholat. The Hotel more like a family Hotel and not Suitable for business agenda. But the location is good near Orchard with many Shops and Department stores.

They have great amenities such as a Nespresso machine in the room. Their breakfast buffet is okay. Nothing special.

I love that they have paid great detail to small things for the Muslim traveler such as having a Quran in the room, a bidet in the bathroom, and the food is all halal.

Great muslim friendly hotel right at Orchard Road. Very near to the mrt as well as the Orchard strip. Room was comfortable and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good but still needs a bit more variety from day to day. Overall it was a good experience.

Was on a business trip and looking for accommodation that enable for easy mobility, halal food and leisure evenings. Royal Plaza fits the bill, it was near the MRT station, easy access for public transport, in the middle of a shopping area, i.e. adjacent to Orchard road and of course offers halal food.
The reception counter staff was great and very helpful when we arrived quite late in the evening. Check in was easy and very detailed.

The room was clean, nice and comfy. They even provide guests with mobile wifi if you need to bring it along outside. The breakfast spread was quite a few options and good food. The concierge staff were friendly and helpful in getting us the taxis to go to the many meeting venues.

Royal Plaza offers good amenities for Muslim travelers, besides halal food, they have a surau or praying room, quite small but doable. Will definitely be a choice when I am in Singapore again.

Located in the Arab Street and Kampong Glam enclave, and a mere stone’s throw away from Bugis Village and Little India, Village Hotel Bugis is at the crossroads of Singapore’s Arab, Peranakan and Indian enclaves. These multicultural and multinational influences are seen in the Indian, Chinese and international cuisines at the hotel’s three dining options.Guests can explore the side streets of Kampong Glam, Bugis Village and Haji Lane, which have small boutique outlets stocked with fashion labels otherwise not found in the Singapore malls.

They can also indulge in a shopping spree at the Bugis Junction and Bugis+ shopping centres.

Everyone was so friendly and service oriented. From Rizal at main desk during check in to the aunty manning the gym to the uncle manning the pool to the indian guy manning the reception during breakfast. Everyone at the restaurant. One of very few hotels with halal breakfast.

No more bento breakfast but is served to you as set at the restaurant. You can always for more if still hungry.

Location was perfect! We didn’t have to drive out anywhere. Plenty halal eateries around. Masjid Sultan is just opposite hence you will get to hear the beautiful azan 5 times a day. No where else can you get that in SG. Bugis Junction is 10 mins walk away.

Toilet newly renovated and is nice. Basic toiletries provided. Toilet has bidet spray. Will definitely be back.

I would strongly recommends Village Hotel Bugis as your choice of stay as there are plenty of restaurants and food shops nearby especially for our muslim tourist and guest. There are plenty of food restaurant and outlets with Halal certification. They are just a walking distance to and from the hotel.

This hotel very close to Sultan mosque, Bugis mrt and also only 5 minutes walk to bugis junction. Their breakfast buffet is halal certified and there are a lot of halal restaurant around the hotel. That’s a good choice for muslim traveller.

Village Hotel Bugis has been our family favourite hotel in Singapore particularly due to its superb location within the Bugis shopping district and its accessibility to excellent Muslim restaurants and the most pleasant and historical Masjid Sultan all well within walking distance. Public transportation via Bugis MRT station is only 10 minutes walk away and very convenient for travellers.

For those driving to the city, ample car parking facility is available at no extra cost, all included with the hotel charges which is absolutely superb.

This hotel is located smack bang in the middle of Kampong Glam, probably the best part of Singapore for me as a tourist, as well as being excellent for Muslims (for sightseeing and food). Excellent food, shopping, cafes, exposure to the spectrum of Singaporean culture and not too far from the CBD and other attractions – the MRT station is a short walk away.

The hotel itself is perfectly adequate for the price. It is a decent 4/5 star hotel, somewhat dated but comfortable and with friendly staff. I would stay here again.

The hotel’s location which is in the same building as Golden Landmark makes it easy for us to find it from the Bugis MRT station. The strategic location because it is located in an Arab village made it easy for us to find halal food with a good price.

Excellent 4-star hotel. It’s good for a business trip. The hotel also muslim-friendly, where the restaurant serve halal food. Stayed there for a week and wish to stay there longer.

7 eleven and McDonald are quite around 7 minutes by walking. There is a park just beside the hotel where you can a nice walk enjoying the scenery. Overall I’m really satisfied with the hotel.

One of the best Muslim friendly hotel. The halal breakfast food prepared was one of the reason why I choose to stay at this hotel. There are also nearby halal shops that serve halal food in the surrounding area.

For those who are worried about getting Halal food; well fret not about it cause this hotel serves HALAL FOOD! Yay!

You can fill in your empty stomach without any worries. You can also have a walk to the mall- Zhongshan Mall which is located just beside of the hotel. There’s 7 Eleven inside the mall so if you need a snacks, it’s near.

This is the first hotel that I’ve ever been to, that provided the guest with a smartphone to use throughout your stay. Since I don’t have a Singapore number, its 4G internet and unlimited calls were SUPER helpful when I was travelling. The room had a nice bed, with plenty of pillows to make you cozy. They had a small bench beside the window so you can enjoy the view comfortably.

Literally beside the hotel, is the Zhongshan Park. The park is really nice to just sit and hangout. It had a nice atmosphere. Walking a tiny bit leads you to the Zhongshan mall, where you can buy groceries, eat at restaurants or the food court at the ground floor.

There is also a bus stop nearby which you can get you a lot of places. As for muslims, the restaurant inside the hotel (21 on Rajah) is halal certified. There is also an Indian-Muslim restaurant Inside the mall’s food court.

The hotel has very comfortable rooms hygienic toilets and staff attitude is very cordial. Restaurant is very good and halal too so good for Muslims. The location is also nice with major attractions within the reach.

The room is just nice in terms of size, very clean and comfortable. I think the price is reasonable.

The restaurant has halal certification so this makes it convenient for Muslim travelers like me. The food options for breakfast is also excellent.

Finally the staff at the lobby and check-in counters are always helpful (with enquiries or helping to call a taxi from the roadside).

Location-wise the closest MRT station is about 10-15 minutes walk but the hotel provides a shuttle bus that goes there regularly.

You’ll get the schedule when you check in. But it is easy to get taxi or Uber to get to other places near the city center.

Amenities include an American steakhouse, a sleek sushi bar and stylish Cantonese dining, plus a chic atrium lounge. There’s also an outdoor pool, a gym and a spa.

Excellent service.
Good location.
Value for $$$
Approachable and helpful service staffs.
Muslim friendly, toilet with bidet. Filtered tap attached. Comfortable beds and best of all near shopping center.

This hotel is NOT only conveniently located BUT it comes with a halal breakfast option for muslims. Convenience is key as it is strategically located most tourist attractions and last minute shopping is always welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic with both asian and western flair :).

Room was a decent size with a king size bed and still plenty of room for the rollaway for my son.
Balcony has no furniture but a decent length and the views are to die for!

Bed was really comfy. Bathroom was a tad cramped – probably no need for the bidet and separate bath. Shower was good, water always hot. Double basin vanity and toiletries replaced every day, including toothbrushes.

Though the balcony to the room is quite creepy, the room is very much comfortable with great view.

I love its hospitality and on top of that I love the sahur food as well – free room delivery. The hotel is a muslim friendly – clean sejadah can be requested and qibla direction can be found in the closet.

The buffet breakfast gave a good experience as they observe the festive month when we were there by serving Muslim-friendly food I should say (not sure if Halal).

Very nice environment and beautiful room, very helpful staffs, very delicious food, located near the most exciting tourist places, surrounded by many big shopping malls, and for me a muslim traveller, a guaranteed halal meal.

Aquamarine is Halal and that’s a high point for Muslim travelers and tourists. Room is nice but there’s no bidet next to the toilet bowl (this is important for Muslims).

Air-conditioning seemed to be regulated during the night and uncomfortably warm during sleep at around 2-3 am. Ladies and gentlemen at the concierge are very helpful.

Good service, clean, strategic location, near mosque, serve halal food for muslim, near mrt station lavender, near mustafa market, very humble service.

It’s my first time to SG, then I had a great experience there. For muslims especially, there is masjid or mosque beside this hotel and this hotel is certified halal.

The room was small but cozy, at least the amenities were great. Clean room as well. Got good view from my room 1532.
The hotel location is easy access to go anywhere. Get the taxi in the lobby or Grab. About 200 meters away from the Lavender MRT station. There are some small convenience store in hotel building that we could refer.

Also some shops to eat nearby even in hotel building has food court. One shop serving halal food. Across the hotel there is mosque, easy for muslim traveler for praying.

It’s near to Lavender station (few metres ahead, walk across the bridge). Lovely room though no closet, they provide open hanging rack. Halal options are available (muslim friendly breakfast & eateries downstairs). The environment is quite secure and the pool on 4th floor has quite the view.

Furthermore, ironing + laundry area (washer and dryer) are also located on 4th floor, it’s next to the halal breakfast area (not the one towards the pool, easy access from lobby B). 5 SGD each machine, you can get the change from the reception counter.
