The service was exceptional from the Good Rest B&B. Breakfast was outstanding and the hosts gave great directions for eating out. The facilities for looking after our dogs was great, I would easily stay there again if I were going through Alice Springs.

Breakfast was great, Margaret cooked to order, sausages bacon eggs toast butter baked beans, tea and coffee and had it ready at an agreed time.

A 5 Stay at the A Good Rest B & B in Alice spring. Margaret and Alf are excellent hosts. The facilities are beautiful clean and comfortable. They are pet friendly and made me the best bacon and eggs.

A spacious, immaculately presented, spotlessly clean, pet-friendly villa with everything weary travellers could wish for. Even a washing machine in the villa. Now folks that’s service at it’s best.

The amazing hospitality, generosity, warmth, friendliness, helpfulness plus kindness from Margaret & Alf was second to none. Breakfast, superbly done by two lovely folk who truly enjoy what they are doing, that is opening up their beautiful home to travellers & their pets.

‘A Good Rest BnB’ is situated in a quiet location about 3k from the hustle & bustle of the town centre. A glorious garden full of roses, sparkling clean swimming pool, outdoor facilities is in a word, stunning.

We have absolutely no hesitation in praising this magnificent gem of accommodation in Alice Springs.

2. Ooraminna Homestead – Pet Friendly Accommodation Alice Springs

With garden views, Ooraminna Homestead is located in Alice Springs and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, barbecue and terrace.

There is a private bathroom with shower and a hairdryer in each cabin, along with free toiletries.

Stunning location with the most friendly and professional staff looking after us. It felt like we were staying with friends who did everything they could to make us comfortable while giving us complete privacy.

Horses, cattle, dogs and puppies. Amazing character room (the stone cottage – family room). A highlight of our holiday and a must do for anyone visiting the outback!

The bed and breakfast offers a continental or buffet breakfast.

I cannot reccommend this highly enough for those who are wanting to experience an authentic taste of what our beautiful desert has to offer.

The room (stone hut) had a large comfortable bed with an open wood fire and our wonderful hosts had even stacked all the firewood we needed at the cabin (mulga logs and kindling).

My one piece of advice is make sure that you allow yourself enough time to enjoy sitting on the balcony in the morning sun with a cuppa and really soak up the environment. It is not just a hotel room but a unique and beautiful place and experience.

Take warm clothes and a good torch as you are out in the elements however I loved this about it most of all!

The campground is also dog friendly which is lovely.

Having grown up on a station south of Alice, this was like coming home for me. Just magic!

3. Alice On Todd Apartments 3* – Dog Friendly Accommodation Alice Springs

Just 5 minutes’ drive from central Alice Springs, Alice on Todd Apartments offer self-catering accommodation with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi internet. Guests have access to the outdoor swimming pool.

Alice on Todd Apartments are located just 1 minute’s walk from the Todd River. Alice Springs Golf Course and Todd Mall are each a 5-minute drive away.

The air-conditioned rooms come with a well-equipped kitchenette or kitchen and laundry facilities. All rooms have a balcony or patio where guests can relax.

I always stay here when coming into Alice Springs, apartments are lovely, dog friendly and very convenient.

Clean, tidy and lovely staff! Oh and dog friendly!

Loved the dog friendly apartment option. Doggo was very happy with his little yard.

The venue was secure and allowed for easy after hours access / check in. Upon booking, we received a message asking for further information which assisted our needs.

The venue also provided extra amenities to make our small pet feel at home and comfortable. There was no extra charges for pets.

Hugely accommodating for pets and large, well appointed room.

We had a great stay at Alice on Todd. Great pet friendly accommodation.

Apartment was just as big as some back home! Management was great, and it was close to everything. Aircon worked well, and it was nice sitting on the balcony enjoying the weather in the afternoon!

We stayed here for one night, as a family of three with two dogs, in a 1 bedroom deluxe pet friendly room. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent, clean and thoughtful pet friendly accommodation in Alice Springs.

Private courtyard for dog with 2 food/water bowls & bed. Even provided dog treat upon check in.

Also provided a sheet to protect the couch from cat hair. Convenient to find pet friendly accommodation while travelling with our car & dog. Will be back for sure.
