We had so much fun staying at cairns Ingenia Holiday park. The park & amenities were very clean. Pet friendly & a great pet friendly area for your paw friends. Price was fair. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & will be back.

We had a 2 bedroom villa which was pet friendly and everything was clean staff were very welcoming we took our dog so 100 percent perfect for us and even had a off the leash fenced area.

Grounds were clean even took advantage of having a massage with IMassage which was great.

There’s not many pet friendly cabins so that was the best part of our stay.

A fantastic resort now offering cabins for pets. This allowed us to take our whole family away and was greatly appreciated! Wonderful child friendly activities. Holidays program was outstanding.

Been here a few times, I travel with my dogs and great place for access to everything you need and your fur buddies.

Cabins are spacious and well supplied…..food on site is a little exy but shops are close by too. Great areas for dogs etc to run round…wonderful staff that will go out of their way to make your stay perfect.

This park had everything you could want. We were travelling with a dog so the off leash agility park was a bonus.

Staff were extremely helpful and friendly and assisted with booking excursions for us.

2. Lilybank Guest House 4* – Dog Friendly Accommodation Cairns

Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. Views of the mountains, pool or garden are featured in certain rooms. The rooms come with a private bathroom, with free toiletries provided. Lilybank Guest House features free WiFi.

The bathroom was very roomy and clean. There was even a little water bowl in our room for our little dog.

Room at the back – very quiet, could not hear the road noise, and could have my dog in the room with us. Had the pool to ourselves.

Our dog could stay in the room with us. Beautiful place and very convenient location.

Very friendly and welcoming managers. Very clean accommodation. We hand a nice swim in the pool. We were made to feel very welcome. Omelette for breakfast yum. We would highly recommend it. It is also pet friendly which worked great for us.

Breakfasts here are exceptional and kept us going most of the day, and its hard to go past the Garden Room restaurant a couple of minutes walk from the B&B, and just a little further a Thai then a Moroccan, as well as the local Barron River pub at Stratford.

We discovered that Straford has become quite a dining mecca for locals since our last visit and really no need to travel the 8 km into Cairns city for dining at night.

3. Sarayi Boutique Hotel 4* – Dog Friendly Accommodation Cairns

Set amid tropical gardens and across the street from Palm Cove Beach along the Coral Sea, this refined hotel is 23 km from duck tours in Rainforestation Nature Park and 28 km from the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary.

Casual rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking equipment. Some have sofa beds. Apartments feature kitchens, balconies and living areas.

Parking is complimentary. A rooftop deck features a pool, a hot tub and sun loungers. There’s an understated restaurant/bar with a patio. Breakfast is available.

Great location for dog people being right on the esplanade. And the secure courtyard is a bonus.

Private courtyard for dogs. Kitchenette. rooftop pool with great views. But mainly location, location, location.

Real dog friendly place. Even had a small courtyard. Not like others you turn up and your dog has to sit in a corner outside.

Location, a lot to do around. We love the swimming pool on the roof. Great for pets.

Nice little room right on the Esplanade with amazing location. Unobtrusive staff, this little gem is a must see if you have pets!

Located right in the heart of all the restaurants, to be honest I’m unsure why this place ever has free rooms!

Although accommodation was basic it was clean and tidy. We were in a pet friendly room which was great. Pets are allowed up in the pool area (not for a swim) with you which was fantastic as our little pooch suffers terribly with separation anxiety and the rotunda

overlooking the water was fantastic for us to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by. The reception staff were very friendly and happy to help with any questions we had.
