All villas are air-conditioned and include a full kitchen, a private courtyard or terrace, and a lock-up garage. Bathrobes and feather-filled pillows are provided. Some villas contain 2 bathrooms.

2. Torquay Terrace Bed & Breakfast 5* – Pet Friendly Accommodation Hervey Bay

Set in a quiet area of Hervey Bay, Torquay Terrace Bed & Breakfast is 7 minutes’ walk from pristine beaches, restaurants, shopping, tourist attractions and fishing spots. Free private parking is available on site.

At no extra cost to guests, the property can arrange a variety of tours and experiences including Fraser and Lady Elliot Islands, and whale watching in season. Information on travel times and conditions can also be provided.

Each of the air-conditioned rooms features an en suite or private bathroom with either a standard bath or a spa bath. All rooms offer luxurious linen, a flat-screen TV. The Brighton room includes a DVD player. They also have a refrigerator, an egg cooker and tea/coffee making facilities.

The room was well appointed and had a magnificent 4 poster bed and whilst I prefer softer mattresses was still comfortable. The room had the charm of an old English mansion. I picked the room with the spa bath ensuite and we were not dissapointed! The spa was HUGE! It fit my partner and myself easily and was just what the doctor ordered for relaxation. Johnathan has taken my feedback on board to supply bath salts in future which would elevate to the next level. The sounds of the birds outside our room was delightful.

My only other breakfast suggestions would be for fresh fruit and complimentary coffee pod for each guest. I would also update the guide book as some information is dated and no port in the dining room plus the chocolates were rather old.

When I was reading about the accommodation I wasn’t sure if “pet friendly” extended to giant breed dogs do didn’t enquire until I get was speaking to Jonathan in person before we checked out.

To my surprise the big and giant dogs are most welcome and in future I will definitely take my furkids with us as they can join us in our room. There is also a large backyard and dog off leash beach nearby for their exercise. We will definitely start here again!!

We had a wonderful stay at Torquay Terrace, and were delighted by the pet friendly Brighton suite, with its very own balcony and spa bath.

John was a gracious host, and made us feel very welcome during our stay. We will definitely be back when we next visit Hervey Bay.
