A great place to stay if you’re traveling with your dog, highly recommend. Nice size garden for them to play in.

What a wonderful place to stay in mossel bay. Close to town, but quiet and peaceful. Excellent decor, comfort superb. Attention to detail outstanding. Super host.

Can’t recommend it enough. Great selection of rooms for individuals, friends and families.

Ideal for both Long and short stays. Lovely gardens and swimming pool.

We stayed at Villa Palmera for one evening and it was an amazing experience from the second we walked through the door.

Such a friendly and welcoming greeting from Andrea, a stunning property and fantastic amenities, there is no way in which we could fault our stay. Should we be back in Mossel Bay we shall certainly be returning.

2. Bay Lodge on the Beach 4* – Pet Friendly Accommodation Mossel Bay

Offering direct access to the beach, Bay Lodge is located in Bay View. The guest house offers indoor BBQ area and free WiFi is available in the public areas.

The spacious and contemporary furnished rooms offers air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV and a private bathroom. Each is equipped with a bar fridge, microwave, toaster and tea-and-coffee making facilities.

The property offers free off-street parking.

Activities in the surrounding area include fishing, shark cage diving and golfing.

There was a slight hitch when we arrived with regard to the size of our pets but that was quickly overcome and forgotten.

Low-key rooms & suites in a relaxed beachfront guesthouse offering a terrace & ocean views.

3. The Point Hotel & Spa 4* – Pet Friendly Hotels Mossel Bay South Africa

Set on the rocks below St. Blaize Lighthouse in Mossel Bay, this hotel overlooks the Indian Ocean. It offers spacious rooms with private balconies. Free WiFi and parking is provided.

All rooms at The Point are equipped with air conditioning, a wardrobe, a safe and electric kettle. The modern bathrooms provide free toiletries. Guests can enjoy views of the ocean and Mossel Bay’s Tidal Pool.

Featuring dramatic ocean and rock views, The Point Hotel & Spa offers guests unlimited drinks, snacks and meals. Meals are served at the onsite Lighthouse Restaurant offering seafood dishes, buffet meals and a la carte menu options, all prepared with local ingredients.

Guests have unrestricted access to Nirvana Spa which offers a variety of beauty and body treatments. The spa has 4 treatment rooms, a Jacuzzi and a steam room.

Can’t get closer to the ocean, great view and perfect located to restaurants and I had to opportunity to travel with my dog!

Excellent location – must be the best in Mossel Bay with breathtaking views. Just a warning, very steep stairs when the lift is not working – it was out of service when we stayed there. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wonderful location, can’t get closer to the ocean if you tried! Do yourself a favor and try the curry, it was fantastic!

Staff are extremely friendly and go the extra mile.
