The setting is beautiful, the cabins are lovely as is Jane the manager. Being able to have our dog with us was great!

he setting is amazing. Very relaxing and easy walk to a beautiful beach. We had our 2 dogs as well which was a bonus the communal kitchen was superb!

The cabins are extremely comfortable and had everything you needed. Also available is a huge communal kitchen with gas cookers, bbqs and all kitchen items for you to use.

Out the front of the cabins is a huge gardened area with views directly across the bay and beautiful sunsets to be watched. Excellent place to stay, very relaxing. And dogs are very welcome.

For a young family the cabins are fantastic…..plenty of room and clean.

The outdoor kitchen and covered eating area make it a wonderful spot to sit and relax while watching the sun set and watch the kids fish off the jetty. The site is also pet friendly, which is great for those who want to travel with their dogs.

Not many venues can offer you that all in one place, especially not dog friendly places.

2. Seachange 2 PET FRIENDLY 4* – North Stradbroke Island Pet Friendly Accommodation

Situated 600 m from Cylinder Beach in Point Lookout, Seachange 2 PET FRIENDLY offers accommodation with a kitchen. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi.

Offering 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, this apartment has a flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are offered in the apartment.

Great property and location to Stradbroke pet friendly Home Beach. It was comfortable, clean and easy to access. The temperature did drop, so some additional blankets in the property would have been fabulous!

A beautifully decorated cabin in a Quiet and tranquil bushland setting and loved the fact they made our dog feel very welcome. Will definitely stay here again!

The views are lovely, the cabin was clean, comfy and modern. Ideal if you want to be left alone. Dogs are welcome which is great.

Cabin is self contained, coffee captual machine available and twining tea, fridge had sweet treats complementary as we did to go to Woolworths 5 mins away to pick up what you need as you won’t want to leave. Once you enter the cabin

The deck is so big hot and it’s enclosed.with fly screen so no need to worry about mozzies. Our furbaby loved the deck with smells and the rustle on the trees, he slept in the deck.

It was that beautiful, I feel so relaxed as am writing this can’t wait to return to this beautiful place.

Note: all dogs must be on a lead when outside the cabin.

The cabin was comfortable and stylish, the bush setting is beautiful, the breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful. We loved the dog too. I would highly recommend the Mt Cotton Retreat.

Our self contained pavilion was an adequate size for the two of us and was fully stocked with everything we needed to be self-contained (cooking essentials, cutlery, crockery, fridge, dishwasher etc). What made us choose this destination was that we could take our fur baby Bonnie. Lots of places allow dogs, but not many take cats as well!

The large veranda was fully screened so we could have everything open to allow the lovely breeze in and have no fear of Bonnie getting out. They are only 10 minutes from a major shopping centre but it feels like you are miles away from civilisation.

I don’t think there is any public transport nearby so your own vehicle is essential for coming and going. We would definitely recommend this retreat. Quiet, relaxing and pet friendly.

Located close to Redland Bay boat ramp, these self-contained holiday homes offer a fully equipped kitchen and free on-site parking. The apartments are located in various locations, close to Victoria Point, restaurants, cinemas and Sirromet Winery.

Redland BayBreeze Holiday Homes are within 50 minutes’ drive from Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and Warner Bros. Movie World.

Good bedrooms, secure garden for dogs and children, laundry, good parking. Good space for a family. Cot and highchair provided.

Howard was great to deal with, professional & respectful. Great for a weekend getaway. Outdoor patio & BBQ got a good workout. Very clean, sheridan towels, lawns & garden immaculate.

Loved this gorgeous property. So perfect for our little old dogs. And there are so many easy walks around here! We loved it!

The location of the hotel is amazing, Cylinder Beach with emerald water and silky soft sand under your feet.

The 3 bedroom apartment was very spacious, beautifully set up and decorated with lovely paintings, ocean view, nice toiletries and everything you need for an enjoyable stay.

The bar in the hotel has a good selection of drinks and restaurant’s menu offers a choice of delicious dishes.

There is a wine shop conveniently located in the basement which has a great selection of Australian and international wines, including a good range of organic wines. We had dinner on both nights at the restaurant.

Seafood linguine was delicious, the next day we had a seafood platter. The highlight was grilled octopus and local oysters. Simply divine!

We also enjoyed pork ribs and pork cheeks from a smokehouse, cooked by Charlie.The service was excellent. It was my first visit to the island and I loved every moment of our stay.
