Dog friendly apartment, very spacious, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff also.

Everything we and our dog needed. Even a dog bed and bowls. Easy access to the park next door for the dog morning walk.

Staff were excellent, the added amenities to look after our dog were such a nice surprise! The room was warm and very comfortable.

We stayed for three nights and absolutely loved it. It was close to everything and a perfect location for our pet dog Max to go for walks. The staff were really friendly and so helpful too.

Very welcoming of pets. Rooms are spacious and have modern fittings. Quiet and private spaces that are so handy to town and the lake. Very helpful staff too. We won’t stay anywhere else in Queenstown!

We chose Garden Court as it’s pet friendly, which meant we could bring our dogs on an impromptu night away.

Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet (despite being ‘roadside’ we barely heard the traffic). The receptionist, Rachel, was very friendly and welcoming and made a big fuss of the dogs! In the room was a big dog bed, dog bowls, a treat and some info about local dog services and dog friendly things to do.

The motel is situated a very easy 5 minute walk into town and there is plenty of free parking onsite and nearby.

Great customer service skills, very friendly and accommodating staff to their guests. They have set the bar high for pet-friendly accommodation.

The rooms are clean and has adequate parking spaces for the hotel guests.

2. Abba Court Motel 4* – Dog Friendly Accommodation Queenstown

Abba Court Motel offers affordable and friendly self-contained accommodation with free onsite parking. It is just 900 m from the Skyline Gondolas and a 2-minute walk from supermarkets. Guests enjoy unlimited free WiFi.

The property is within a 5-minute walk of central Queenstown and features a BBQ area with outdoor seating. Abba Court Motel Queenstown is 1 km from Lake Wakatipu, and 5 minutes’ drive from the Queenstown Gardens. Queenstown International Airport is a 15-minute drive away.

Kitchen facilities with a stove, microwave and refrigerator are standard in all apartments.

Each heated apartment has a bathroom with a hairdryer and guest toiletries. Some apartments also have mountain views. All rooms have large Smart TV’s with Netflix and access to movies.

A 2-minute walk from the nearest bus stop, this low-key, unassuming motel is 8 km from the Ben Lomond mountain and 15 km from the tranquil Lake Hayes.

The unpretentious studios and 1- to 2-bedroom apartments with simple furnishings offer free Wi-Fi, TVs, full kitchens and living areas with sofa beds.

Amenities include a playground and complimentary parking.

Walking distance from the centre I had the pleasure of staying here for several weeks in a balcony 1 bedroom unit which was well appointed including a kitchenette which included a microwave / cooking facilities and a full sized fridge leaving me wanting for nothing .
Pots and pans cutlery plates etc were all provided .

Bedroom was spacious and well appointed .
Groceries can be bought at two supermarkets directly across the street.

The fact that this motel is dog friendly was such a surprise and suited us perfectly.

The owner being a dog owner himself is indeed very understanding as regards guests with their pets.

The apartment was clean, warm and comfortable and the owner, so friendly and helpful. Our little dog Honey was made very welcome too.

The location is so convenient, just a 5 minute walk into central Queenstown and with a supermarket and cafe just across the road.

We will certainly stay here every time we come to Queenstown. Thank you for a fabulous stay
Parking was available onsite right next to the units.

A small garden with play facilities is available for kids under supervision and also provides a place for pets to stretch their legs.

Great stay here, super friendly hosts. It was a great location, minutes walk to town, the lake and gondola. Genuinely pet friendly too, really nice to be able to have our dog stay with us on holiday and not have to have her sleep in the car.

Bree (our dog) had lots of cuddles, which she loves. We had a one bedroom unit which was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend it.

3. Wakatipu View Apartments 4* – Pet Friendly Accommodation Queenstown

Wakatipu View Apartments is a self-catering accommodation located in Queenstown. Free WiFi access is available. The property is 800 m from Skyline Gondola and Luge and 4.5 km from Shotover River.

The apartment will provide you with a seating area. There is a full a kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator and an oven. The bathroom comes with a shower and a washing machine.

Cosy- wall mounted quiet heaters. Close walk to town and gardens. Could take dogs which was a real bonus. Not a bad view. Jan is a great communicator and though there was no reception on site it didn’t matter. The outsides a bit tired but it doesn’t matter. It’s really good value for money. Very nice furnishings, comfy beds. And even though by a road and two construction sites the noise wasn’t that bad.

Really great wee kitchen with all the things you’d need- mini oven marvellous.

It was clean and had modern furniture and my unit had a little garden for the pets to use.

Lovely tidy property and great to be able to have the dog with us.
