1. Ruthven Street Motor Inn 3*  – Pet Friendly Accommodation Toowoomba

Ruthven Street Motor Inn is 2.9 km from Grand Central Shopping Centre and 3.1 km from Toowoomba Railway Station. It offers an outdoor pool, free undercover parking and rooms with free Wi-Fi access.

Air-conditioned guest rooms are fitted with tea/coffee making facilities, a DVD player and a flat-screen TV with cable channels. The en suite bathroom comes with shower and a hairdryer.

Thank you so much for providing such a lovely dog-friendly motel room. It really was lovely not to be relegated to the daggy-in-need-of-updating room either right on the main road or so far up the back of the motel.

The room was spotless. Hardwood floors were great for a hairy dog. Lots of space with a nice little sitting area at the entrance to the room. Covered car parking meant I could load the car without getting wet while the dog supervised from the motel room doorway.

A very short walk to lots of takeaway or restaurants.

For those travelling with dogs, there is an off-leash dog area about 300 metres away – cross Ruthven Street and go down the hill beside the golf course to West Creek off leash area. My girl had a great time chasing pigeons and ducks, and exploring.

While it is an older style motel it is in excellent condition and one of the cleanest ones we have stayed in. The friendly staff made the stay even more pleasant and it is a credit to their hard work that makes the motel so good.

The motel has 2 good dog friendly rooms, and the dog was made most welcome. We had great egg and bacon breakfasts and coffee each morning at The Pump cafe attached to the petrol station near the motel.

We stay here on our way to Stanthorpe. It was a great dog friendly room, heaps of space for all three of us. The bathroom was clean and large with all amenities. The Kitchen was great and look recently upgraded. If you did not want to cook there was plenty of other takeaway or eat in options available in walking distance.

If you wish to drive it is about a 3 minute drive into town. We would stay here again next time we are in Toowoomba. Great Place and friendly people.

2. Sunray Motor Inn 3* – Pet Friendly Accommodation Toowoomba

Just across the road from Toowoomba Aerodrome, Sunray Inn offers air-conditioned accommodation with flat-screen cable TV. It features free airport transfers, undercover parking, a saltwater swimming pool and BBQ facilities.

Just 2 km from Toowoomba Railway Station, Downs Motel offers air-conditioned rooms with a 32-inch flat-screen TV. It features a barbecue area and a communal balcony. Guests enjoy a complimentary non-alcoholic mini bar upon arrival. Free WiFi and parking is also provided.
