The room was huge, super comfortable, with every thoughtful (and tasteful) touch added…the room and bathroom spotlessly clean, the latter well-provided with toiletries.
We were initially intending to stay three nights and then switch to another place for our remaining two nights. But the next morning we met the rest of Ketawa’s doggy family and promptly changed our bookings to stay there right through.
With a packed schedule planned for every single day, the fact that breakfast service begins at 7.00 am and offers 6 “fulfilling” options at a reasonable price was a real blessing. The meal kept us going until late afternoon/evening with just water or juice in between to beat the heat.
It also gave us the opportunity to enter the dog-interaction area and cuddle Ketawa’s collection of darling pooches, who were just as willing to return our kisses!
Perfect location: quiet area, but at the same time it’s close to the downtown. Nice café with a delicious breakfasts and pretty dogs you can play with.
Pool, where you can swim with your pets- so lovely.
However, we were a bit surprised that, despite the fact that it’s pet friendly hotel, we had to pay extra for our pets. But, apparently it’s hotel policy, so just bear in mind this fact.
After being under surveillance at Airbnb with our dog, staying at Ketawa felt like home. It was relaxing oasis where we did not have to be so on-edge about having our dog with us. The rooms were clean, modern, and intelligently designed, with the comforts of both pet and owner in mind.

The beds were comfy for us and MoMo loved his teepee! The cafe cooked food for both myself and our picky pup.
We have enjoyed our stay at this hotel more then most places we have been. We were treated kindly by all the staff even the night security guard was friendly. I am amazed at how well they keep the place clean.
The beds are super comfortable, the rooms have all amenities and the breakfast is yummy.
Our hearts were at peace knowing they could watch our dog while we went out on day trips too.
The location was good and the place was beautiful. Especially if you have pets you can feel comfy not bothering any guests. I highly recommend if you wanna come to CM. This is one of your best choices.

This was such an amazing place. Lah was so friendly and catered to our every need. Her English was good enough that we could communicate with ease and we loved her dog Rupa!
We come back just to visit Rupa and give her belly rubs. The power for the entire block went out and Lah was immediately on it. The value for Liam’s was unbeatable. I highly recommend.
I stayed about a week at Liam’s Suan Dok Mai Guesthouse with my dog and had an amazing time. The service was outstanding, I felt really taken care of and my stay was personalized to what I needed (i.e. my room was downstairs because of the dog).
The guesthouse was exactly what I needed. The pool, beautiful ambiance, helpful staff, outstanding service. Everything was excellent, I had a great stay and can’t wait to go back. Would highly recommend.
We spent a wonderful moment in this guesthouse. We fell for the little jungle Garden with its swimming pool.
What about the kindness, availability, and hospitality of our host Lah.
She makes our stay perfect by booking taxis, giving us a thaï phone and providing us free transport to the city every night.
Hug from us to the lovely dog of the Guesthouse, Lupa.
This was by far one of may favourite stays of my whole month in Thailand. It is situated about 20 Tuk Tuk minutes from the centre of Chang Mai which was perfect for us as we loved the city and wanted somewhere to retreat to after sight seeing.
The pool area was just beautiful, the rooms were well thought out, clean and comfortable. it was obvious that careful thought had been given to the needs of visitors here, sometimes its the little things like an electric socket next to a mirror or fresh bottled water daily that make the stay more comfortable.
The breakfasts were really delicious, home made omelettes , eggs any way you want and bacon (USA Style) made to order, homemade Granola, fresh fruit and yogurt. Coffee on tap (and in the rooms).
Our room overlooked the beautiful mountains and had the archetypal palm tree standing solo in the field below. It made for some beauttiffullll sunset pictures.
The quaint size of the hotel made for the perfect environment to meet some unforgettable people; including Liam, her son for which the B&B is named after.
The pet-friendly nature of the hotel was perfect for us because we were just starting to Jones for our Rottweiler at home. We arrived late one night, after the kitchen had closed, but the amazing staff was kind enough to make us food.
The crowd staying at the guest house was very eclectic (couples, families with kids, travelers with pets, single people and gay couples), which made it all the best and provided a nice environment for the guests to mingle.
Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be going back when in Chiang Mai.
