The staff was amazing—this includes the front desk, doormen, and those working in the coffee shop.
They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Also, if you have to travel with a pet, this hotel allows furry friends! I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely touches – lounges with both contemporary and faux-period pieces, clean lines, interesting art everywhere, a delightful patio with an everlit fire pit and comfortable seating, all add to a feeling of being in a homelike environment.
I can’t say enough about the indulgent, friendly and attentive staff, whom you simply cannot avoid on entrance and exit, and they never fail to acknowledge you. I will be back, over and over again.

The room was beautiful and all items such as the dishes, sheets, robes, etc, were all of great quality and nicely chosen.
Upon entering the room, the crib was there, but we noticed that the dog bed/bowl was not.
I called down to the front desk and they had someone bring this up to us right away. The dog amenities were such a lovely touch.
The DuPont Circle area is so beautiful and fun, with both a dog park and a playground at each end of the block and lots of restaurants the next street over. I get safe enough to walk the pup and myself at 6am and I’m the evening.
The National Mall and all the museums are close by. we drove and were able to find parking. Everyone we met was so friendly. The staff at the Lyle are amazing, especially GiGi. We will definitely be staying at the Lyle again.

Check-in was a breeze and the staff was very helpful and welcoming. My wife and I traveled with our two dogs and they were more than accommodating and welcoming of them as well.
Free local dog treats were available and the staff made them feel welcome and took great care of them.
Hotel situated at Westend/Dupont Circle area. it is a nice location to stay in DC and is closed to everything (like GWU, capital etc). Hallway is spacious, clean and modern.
Hotel security protocol is very good. Hotel staffs are friendly – we were being served/helped within minutes after arrival. Our room has the city view which is very lovely. Forget to mention – Hotel is pet-friendly.
In our room, there is a small nook near the window so our jack-russell can rest there comfortably – a clever and considerate idea for family with pet.
Our room has a huge TV (55+ if not 60 inches) which is very enjoyable.
The pictures online were one of the factors when first booking this hotel and all I have to say is it’s even more stunning in person!
They are pet friendly, which made it very convenient for our two dogs and there’s a dog park a few blocks down. Received excellent service from the front desk, cafe, and the valet service.
They even worked with us for a later check out. Had a wonderful experience here and will be staying here again next time we’re in town!
