The rooms with wooden décor and sea views, flat-screen satellite TV and DVD player. The bathrooms come with bath or shower.

The restaurant at The Westender Inn serves Jamaican food and guests will also find the Rick’s Café 3 km away. Many other options can be reached 7 km away.

If you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to go…It is a very quiet place, good to go with family and with children.

The staff are very friendly and available. The driver is very available and likes to help with tips and information.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westender Inn. Every staff member we encountered was friendly,helpful and a pleasure to be around. The food was good, the rooms are comfortable and the location, while a bit secluded, can’t be beat for the views.

They make it easy to get into town with shuttle availability. Highlight of our trip (aside from the super bowl party) was meeting Ivana & Rottino.

If you like dogs you will fall in love with Ivana.

Being in the cabin was perfect – a pleasant walk across the grass (often accompanied by a friendly dog) brings you right to the pool and restaurant, but at night it’s quiet.

As others have said, if you want non-stop party and nightlife, this is probably not the place for you but getting to the beach, shopping and all the great places to eat is easy as there are two drivers that are happy to do it.

The room overlooked the ocean ( no beach on property), with a deck out back which was truly a beautiful view to wake up to every morning.

The room was equipped with A/C, a fan, fridge,microwave,toaster, cups, plates and utensils. The water pressure was perfect and there was always hot water.

Overall I would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again. Thanks entire staff for the extraordinary service.

2. Breathless Montego Bay 5* – Pet Friendly Hotels Montego Bay Jamaica

Located in Montego Bay, 1.7 km from Reading Beach, Breathless Montego Bay provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a fitness centre and a bar. The accommodation features a private beach area and water sports facilities, as well as a garden and a casino. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, room service and currency exchange for guests.

The resort will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms with a desk, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with a bath or shower.

A buffet breakfast is available daily at Breathless Montego Bay.

When staying at Breathless, you can utilize both Secrets and they have an area where you can get hot dogs and snacks which included patties which were good as well. They had beef and chicken and we enjoyed them one day when we left the buffet. Being a part of the “CLUB” was worth it because the “CLUB amenities on Secrets side are top notch. Top shelf liquor, snacks, very modern and comfortable lounge areas.

For us, this is what gives Breathless that 5th STAR. I appreciated the lobby ambience and the different DJs at night on the Breathless side. I was expecting crazy, overload party atmosphere, but it wasn’t at all.

We loved that we had access to Secrets resort well. There are additional dining and activity options there. The gym and spa, both amenities we took advantage of, are located on the Secrets property. There is a breezeway that connects the two properties and it’s easy to go back and forth in between the two.

The food at both resorts was delicious and we loved the variety of options in cuisine.

We stayed in a swim out Master Suite and we were impressed with the size of the room and very happy with the proximity to everything.

We weren’t sure about being on the main level, but we enjoyed our early morning or late afternoon escapes to our own lazy river.

The room was very clean and modern with a bar, large jacuzzi tub, sitting area and massive ensuite. It was one of only two rooms with an outdoor hot tub which we enjoyed nightly.

The party pool was fun, and the foam parties always drew a crowd with some of the best people watching you could ask for, if that’s not your thing, you could retreat to the rooftop pool Altitude or go across the street to Secrets through the overpass walkway.

Our preferred spot was the roof top pool Altitude & Restaurant (4 stars) where the views were endless as was the impeccable service.
