The hospitality by the staff was very friendly,also there was a 40 inch tv with usb support along with a pet friendly facilities from my whole trip of Uttarakhand the panoramic view of the hills embed the ganges and the rustling of water on the rocks was pretty good.
The rooms were also comfortable, spacious,modern and luxurious.

Hotel Ishan is in a perfect position, close to everything with fabulous views.

The hotel owns a pretty nice view, you can watch the river from your room and the position of the hotel is perfect. Really friendly staff room and round the hotel very clean and decent rooms. The food was great. Would absolutely recommend this place!

Stayed for two days with my pet, nice services and awesome location..really loved it. I would totally recommend it to all. My two day trip was a bliss. My pet also loved the place. You can also take yoga classes in-house.
It’s a pet friendly hotel, excellent property at Laxman Jhula, room quality and food is excellent.. Even my cat enjoyed there. Morning view was great.
We were looking for a comfortable nite over witg out pet dog. We stumbled over Hotel Ishan. Turned out, it is dog friendly, has good sized and clean rooms. Food is great too! Stand in the balcony and you are right there on top of the ganges and beside the Laxman Jhula.
I spent hours being absolutely still and just watching the mighty Ganges, aarti in the Tera Manzil temple and hoards of devotees and travellers by each second on the Laxman Jhula.
This was quintessentially Rishikesh for me. Thank you Hotel Ishan for such lovely memories.

Bulls Retreat is located in Shivpuri, known for the water sports activities on offer there. It is 7.5 mi from Rishikesh. The hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi in all areas. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the banks of the mighty Ganges. The closest transportation hub is the Haridwar Railway Station, which is 25 mi away.

Jolly Grant Airport in Dehradun is 31 mi away. At Bulls Retreat, guests can avail of luggage storage and car rental facilities. A meeting and banquet space is also available. There is a well-maintained garden present on property where barbecue facilities are on offer. Each air-conditioned room features a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a seating area.

The attached bathroom has free toiletries. All rooms face the dense and beautiful Bhagirathi Forest range. Karakoram restaurant serves multi-cuisine fare.

Surrounded by trees and gardens, this relaxed resort is a 3-minute walk from the Ganges River, 13 km from the shops and temple at Gita Bhawan, and 15 km from Rishikesh train station.

 

Straightforward, colourful rooms feature flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, as well as tea and coffeemaking facilities; some offer garden views. Intimate huts add furnished balconies.

Parking is complimentary. Other amenities include a casual restaurant and a garden terrace. Yoga classes, rafting and rock climbing are available for a surcharge. A backup generator is on-site.

As well maintained as before. The place and rooms are kept clean with lots of greenery all around. Very nice sit outs in the well kept lawns.
The staff was very hospitable with a very positive and helpful attitude.
The food variety was amazing and extremely well prepared. Had to go for long walks after the meals.
Enjoyed the small library. My dog loves the place due to the open area and good walk areas in the vicinity.

 We enjoyed superb facilities and hospitality and the company of nice fellow-travellers and their pet dogs.

The food, in particular, was great tasting, albeit somewhat limited in variety. It was served piping-hot and with the same care and attention as we are generally used to at home. Taste was simple – not too spicy and yet not bland – just right!

Staff went the extra mile in making us feel comfortable – they even set-up a bonfire for us at night and served us an unending array of drinks and snacks there until we were ready to call it a night.

The Retreat is “Pet-friendly” which means you can get your own dog/cat/whatever pet you have, and have it stay in your room. I was amazed at how much care the resort staff took of the pets – they prepared food for them on the basis of what their owners requested – and at all odd times of day.. With lots of open areas for fun and frolic, pets found themselves in paradise-like conditions and had a great time (I could tell since I myself am a pet-owner and it becomes easy to recognise a happy pet when you have three of your own.)

All-in-all, if you’re looking for a luxurious holiday by a river in pristine surroundings, with good food, peace and tranquility, with some water and adventure sports thrown in for good measure, Bull’s Retreat should be your destination of choice.

This place is located a little ahead of rishikesh main point. It is a dog friendly hotel, you can take your dogs at this hotel without any extra charges or any kind of hassle.
The rooms are beautifully done and the location is to die for. The staffs were courteous and the food was divine. Can’t wait to stay at this hotel the next time I am on a visit to Rishikesh.
Overall, well run, very clean resort. Perfect for families of dog lovers and dog owners. Good food, good service. Flexible and willing to help with odd requests. They cleaned the inside of our car for us as one of our dogs has motion sickness.
