Surrounded by towering and stunning limestone hills, Bearlinbungalow welcomes guests with six bungalows and an on-site restaurant. For guests to stay connected, free WiFi is available in all areas.

The cosy bungalows all feature air conditioning and has a private bathroom with hot shower facilities and a separate toilet. It also has a balcony with an outdoor seating area that overlooks Pha Deng Mountain.

Only 1.2 km from the Nam Song River and 2 km from downtown Vangvieng – tranquility is guaranteed. Bearlin Bungalow is completely newly built. Surrounded by breathtaking limestone hills and with direct views of the Pha Deng Mountain. Bearlin Bungalow offers six actractive bungalows and a restaurant catering fine food. The air conditioned rooms come with seating area, a balcony and private bathroom.
The staff are all lovely and always smiling. Lan and her husband Hatsadong (sorry for misspelling) are both wonderful. I loved being away from the town and closer to the mountains and the property is beautiful.
There are bikes/motorcycles to rent on the property and there are also dogs, a couple of rabbits and some chickens running around as well. It’s a peaceful and laid back escape from the town and the backpacker scene.
I highly recommend this property.
The spacious grounds – plenty of space between bungalows. Our bungalow had separated shower and toilets, high ceilings, and a sitting area. Very comfortable. It was also nice to just lie in one of the hammocks hanging in the gardens and watch the trees and clouds and mountains in all their splendor. The owners of the place, Lan and her husband, are Lao who lived in Germany for decades. They are a warm and friendly couple who picked us up from town the night we arrived and dropped us off again on the day we left for Vientiane. Their staff – a young woman and her brother – were friendly and attentive.
So were the three dogs who live in the compound! It was a very homely atmosphere and I’m very glad I picked this place rather than one of the guesthouses in town, which was rather rowdy for my liking.
You get your own bungalow in a lush garden with a view of the nearby mountains. Just beautiful.
The owners are so warm and welcoming and together with their staff they make you feel at home immediately. The three dogs are a very cute plus.

A 10-minute drive from Morning Market, Vientiane Garden Hotel features clean and comfortable rooms with a minibar and an outdoor pool. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Vientiane Garden Hotel is approximately a 15-minute drive from That Luang Temple. A 20-minute ride takes guests to Wattay International Airport.

Simply furnished rooms at this hotel are provided with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV and a refrigerator. Hot and cold shower facilities are in the en suite bathrooms.

Steps from restaurants, this down-to-earth hotel is a 17-minute walk from Wat Si Saket Buddhist temple and an 11-minute walk from the Lao National Museum.

Relaxed rooms with traditional Laotian furnishings offer garden or pool views. All come with complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars, as well as safes. Upgraded quarters add balconies.

On the positive side, the location was great for seeing the major sites within Vientiane either on foot or by tuk tuk, there were many good restaurants, bars, convenience stores and a great massage parlor within walking distance.

As for the hotel itself, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and contained all the basic amenities one would expect, and the pool was a great place to relax and chill out after a day of sightseeing.

There also were plenty of available lounge chairs at the pool and also shaded areas with chairs and tables.

The staff was friendly and gracious. The food was excellent and the room and hotel, overall, was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant. The location of the hotel is within walking distance of some nice restaurants, too. All in all, a great place to stay while in Vientiane.

Inthira Hotel is in Thakhek, a short drive from the Mekong River. It offers beautiful accommodation with wood flooring and a private balcony. It features a restaurant and free Wi-Fi.

Hotel Inthira Thakhek is located between Champasak Province and the Cambodian border, a 4.5-hour drive from Vientiane.

Rooms at Inthira Thakhek Hotel come with a private bathroom with both hot and cold shower facilities. They are air-conditioned and feature a minibar, a TV and tea/coffee maker.

Lovely renovated colonial building hotel located in the very centre of Thakhek and a 1 minute walk to the Mekong river. This confortable hotel designed with a contemporary feel, houses a fantastic open area kitchen that is very popular with the locals and tourists alike.

The Inthira at Thakek is a wonderful hotel that offers clean, comfortable rooms. We were planning on staying one night but ended up sleeping here for 3 nights on our trip to Thakek.

The hotel has a fantastic location, a minute’s walk away from the river front where you can watch the sunset over Thailand.

Each room has a comfortable bed with clean, soft bedding. Each room has toiletries provided, as well as a mini-fridge, a hairdryer and towels.

I would highly recommend this as a place to stay in the town.

However, the restaurant did run out of food very quickly, so this limited our options of what we could eat, which was a shame. However, the food we did have was delicious. The breakfast was filling and you could order extra if you wished.
