Situated in a historically protected building and partially refurbished in 2017, B&B Hotel Ljubljana Park is within short walking distance from Ljubljana’s city centre and major tourist attractions.

We stayed at this hotel for a few nights on a city break, the hotel is a short walk to the city centre and the train station is around 10 mins away (where you can take a coach to Lake Bled). The room was comfortable, clean, the bathroom modern, we had castle views from the window. Breakfast had a great selection for a European hotel, lots of pastries, cereals, healthy options, cold meats etc. They had a lovely selection of herbal teas and honey from the beehives at the top of the hotel.

Reception staff were polite and spoke good English, they were also very helpful with recommendations for sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel.

Location! Just in the middle of the city! Lobby and restaurant are really nicely decorated, and valet parking really convenient. Dog friendly 🙂

They charge 25 euro extra for a dog and 20 euro extra per night for parking and the city tax.

Accepting pets and the great breakfast.

Lovely, friendly staff and very central to everywhere. Also, for a 4 star hotel, very tolerant and indeed, welcoming, of dogs. A big plus for us. No downsides really, except that the tv wasn’t working first night but that’s not a big deal as one doesn’t go on holiday to watch tv.

A big plus is that there is a tea making facility in the room which many continental hotels simply don’t have.

The service was great (they parked our car and brought back when we were living, even without asking), the rooms are very spacious, pet friendly, bathroom very clean, bed veeery comfortable and the breakfast was a dream, with everything you can imagine! Not to mention the location, you wont need any public transportation to the old town, everything is within walking distance, restaurants, stores and tourist attractions. I wouldnt stay in any other place, this hotel was perfect for my stay.

When we arrived at the room there was chocolate waiting for us and a teddy bear which you could by for 10 euros… well, my dog loved it, so we had no other choice but to buy it 🙂 he’s happy with his elephant, it was worth it :)!

Prices start 154$/night for Comfort Twin Room. The Deluxe Double Room is 184$/room per night with breakfast included – if coming on a honeymoon this is the perfect choice for pet owners.

Luxurious L’Occitane bathroom amenities, a lavender pillow mist and a turn-down service are offered. There is an additional direct telephone in the bathroom.

The bed is 200 x 200 cm, with 400-thread count silky cotton bed linen with duck down & feather duvet, mattress topper and anti-allergic soft or hard pillows.

3. Terme Olimia – Hotel Sotelia 4* – Pet Friendly Hotels Slovenia

Terme Olimia – Hotel Sotelia is located in the small town Podcetrtek, surrounded by lush greenery. It is connected to the the Wellness Centre Termalija and Wellness Orhidelia with an underground corridor.

At the Wellness Centre Termalija, the largest sauna complex in Slovenia, guests can enjoy free of charge spa facilities such as indoor and outdoor swimming pools and 3 different types of saunas, as well as fitness facilities.

The Wellness hotel Sotelia also features Spa Armonia – Wellness Centre which offers beauty treatments and various massages, including traditional and ayurvedic massages against a surcharge.

We went there (3 plus small dog) for the first time on a weekene relaxing. Rooms are realyy nice, bed great, bathrooms fully furbished. Wellnes center Orhidelia is just great – everything new and nice. Maybe a bit too warm inside relaxation areas – should be a bit cooler when stepping out of saunas.

Food was fine with a wide selection both for breakfast and dinner.
We will be back for sure.

I recommend to all who love to be spoiled, to relax and enjoy every second in fresh air and wellness .

and one more thing: hotel is little dog friendly … we have westie and so he enjoyed holidays with us!
