I really enjoyed staying at Moxy Tokyo previously and this one in Osaka Shin Umeda was great also!
Just opened last year, design is again top-notch, service is relaxed yet professional and I loved the games in the lobby.
Location was ok to me, to travel around maybe better use the nearby Fukushima station with the Osaka Loop Line rather than Umeda station, except if you go shopping in that area.
Overall very good value for money so highly recommended.
I loved the whole vibe of the property. Very clean and modern with excellent customer service from the staff. Everyone just felt very personable!

The room was huge compared to local standards.
Clean, friendly staff with good English.
There is a metro stop few streets away and Dotonbori is couple of minutes walking.
Huge room compared to others in Japan. Cool spa bath with bubbles and lights. It’s an adult hotel. 24 hr convenience store next door. Excellent staff and very clean.
The hotel itself is exceptionally well-located within an easy walk of the famous Dotonbori Street on one side and Kuro-mon market on another. It’s also a non-challenging stroll from Namba Nankai Station. The rooms are large, especially by Japan standards and are quire well appointed. My room had a large bathroom with a spa bath. The one downside was that there was no natural light in the room – but it was quiet and I felt secure the while time I was there.
While there was no restaurant, there was the option to order food via the reception desk. But there is no shortage of restaurants within an easy walk. All in all, a great value small hotel well worth a look.

My girlfriend and I recently drove down from Shiga to visit Osaka. We treated ourselves by staying at the W.

We were both amazed by the quality of the service in OhLaLa by Nicola and his team.

We also brought our dog, which the hotel staff helped accommodate. They really blew us away with our hospitality.

With so many hotels to choose in Osaka, it may feel overwhelming but given the location of the W, you can’t go wrong.

There are many things to do in the area and walking streets are full of fun shops and bars/restaurants.

We both can’t wait go back.

The service is so professional and friendly, the food is so beautifully plated and delicious! Specifically Carlson and Nicolas at Oh la la were so kind and accommodating, everything you would expect and more from a luxury hotel.
