Good location, close to Sunday marked and Old town, small shopping mall on the other side of the street where you can find cheap food in the food market.
Nice pool with afternoon, evening sun, breakfast coffee, tea toasted bread (limited), but included.

You have an own small kitchen in the room, with water cooker and microwave oven.

Baan Suwantane is a small boutique hotel in Old Phuket Town, it’s a 5 minute walk into the lovely old town with the chinese shop houses.
It was luck of the draw to find it on booking.com when we looked into spending a few days before flying home.

We knew we had seen plenty of beaches and wanted something downtown so we could explore and yet relax at the pool on the hot days.

Rooms are spacious with a big bed that was -for western standards- too uncomfortable with a super-super-firm mattress. Unfortunately this will be the only reason for us not to return, because the rest is absolutely wonderful.
It’s very clean; staff is friendly and helpful.

Everything we needed was within walking distance. Right across the street is the Limelight shopping mall: we had great food at the food court. At night a lovely night market with plenty of tasty food options, not to be missed for the experience.

How much does a room costs at Baan Suwantawe?

Prices start 21$/night for Studio. The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony
is 30$/room per night with breakfast included – if coming on a honeymoon this is the perfect choice for pet owners.

2. Ibis Phuket Patong 3* – Dog Friendly Hotels Phuket

Ibis Phuket Patong

Hotel Ibis Patong Phuket is favourably located in a quieter part of Patong, but still only a 10-minute walk from Bangla Road and 5 minutes from the beach.

The Patong Phuket Ibis offers a fun time for all, with a large swimming pool and a full entertainment programme. Rent a bike to see the local area, or use the car rental facility for longer trips.

Relax in the modern and stylish room, and then go shopping nearby. The beach awaits a short distance away. Patong nightlife is close by also, but not too near to be noisy.

A 4-minute walk from Patong Beach, this modern, laid-back hotel is also a 14-minute walk from the restaurants, bars and nightclubs of the bustling Thanon Bangla road.

The low-key rooms come with free Wi-Fi, private balconies, flat-screen TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Some have games consoles, and separate kids’ rooms with bunk beds.

Parking is complimentary. Other amenities include an airy 24-hour bar, an informal tapas-inspired restaurant, and a palm tree-lined outdoor pool and a hot tub. Massage treatments and bike rentals are available.

The wife and I wanted to try this hotel because of its pet-friendly policy and location.

The Accor hotel group is one of the worlds largest Hotel businesses with hotels ranging from 5-star ultra luxury to economy. The ibis brand of hotels obviously belong to the economy section, but for the budget hotel it is well worth it. The hotel features a good location, and pool area that is on par with hotels that charge 5 times more per night. Garden is well maintained and everywhere is clean.

The rooms are small but functional and everything just works. Service is fast. The restaurant food was above expectation with prices lower than Jungceylon mall nearby. Drinks taste good and are served with a smile.

My impression is that this is a well managed and well maintained property. We will be back, and our dog is looking forward too!

Indeed ibis Erawan Thailand hotels have a pet-friendly policy; we welcome all pets that fit the criteria. It is great to hear that your dog enjoyed staying with us too!

Pet friendly with everything one needs.

End of beach on a quieter side even better to us.

3. Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort 5* – Pet Friendly Hotels Phuket Thailand

Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort

Situated by scenic Makham Bay, Pullman Phuket Panwa Beach Resort offers contemporary-design rooms with subtle Thai accents. It boasts a beachfront pool bordered by 4 dining options, spa and water sports facilities.

Tastefully furnished rooms feature spacious layouts and open out to private balconies with outdoor seating. They come with free WiFi, a flat-screen cable TV and DVD player.

Relaxing massages can be enjoyed at Talay Spa while children are kept entertained at Sapparot Club. The resort also houses a gym, business centre and concierge desk.

Overlooking Makham Bay, this upscale hotel offers direct access to Panwa Beach. It’s a 14-minute walk from Phuket Aquarium and 2 km from a beachside walkway at the scenic Laem Panwa.

Polished rooms come with marble bathrooms, and provide flat-screen TVs, Wi-Fi and minibars, plus tea and coffeemakers; some have terraces with bay views. Suites add living areas, while villas feature private pools. Room service is offered.

There are 2 restaurants, including 1 with a terrace, and 2 bars (1 is poolside). Other amenities include 3 outdoor pools, a sauna, a gym and a private beach. Breakfast (fee) and parking are available.

The resort is located on a cliff overlooking the Andaman Sea, and the view as you walk in through the lobby is spectacular. Something to highlight is also the convenient location as there is a 24hr mini mart just opposite.

We stayed at the pool villa overlooking the Andaman Sea and the villa was immaculate. The bed and the pillows were firm, which is always a pet peeve for me whenever I travel, only this time it wasn’t.

We stayed at the villas which are detached and there are 29 of them. They come in with their private pool, very spacious probaly about 1500 sq.ft. very tall ceilings and spacious and modern bathrooms. They all are surrounded by lush landscape. Our room view of the sea was limited and I believe most of them will be unless you are in a front row as the villas are surrounded by very beautiful lush landscape.

The view of your own private garden, pool and the landscape is so beautiful that not having a huge sea view is not an issue. The Food at the hotel is great but more expensive than other resorts in the Thailand.

. There are a few cats on the property that if you miss your pets at home is nice to see them around. The hotel has a great white beach with canoes and other non motorized sport equipment for your leisure. There are three swimming pools with two attached making it a very large and scenic. The landscape and the scenes are breath taking. The hotel is situated across the street from a family mart ( like a 7-11 ) , a Pharmacy, couple of restaurants, money exchange and a taxi stand.

There is a taxi at the hotel but the rates are much higher than across the street. There are no Tuktuk that I saw in Phuket. If you are planning to go to town, the hotel has a complimentary shuttle leaving at certain times.
