Pool amazing but maybe water was a bit cold, breakfast excellent , room comfortable and very clean, all staff very kind, very pleasant in communication, for me best ever staff where ever I have been in hotels. Pets are welcome.
Also, I didn’t realise the hotel was ‘dog friendly‘ until last night of my stay. Couple next door went for dinner and left their dog in their room crying… with a flight to take at 6.00 am… It wasn’t an ideal situation.. You will believe if a hotel is allowing pets, they should be ready for those type of situations.. but not.
Fantastic experience at Marvie. Ines the reservations agent was very helpful in advance. Checkin experience was great and staff were very helpful throughout the entire tour. Loved Martina who was a staff member at breakfast and went our of her way over several visits there to help us and our family. Breakfast was plentiful and good choice and omelettes and can be made on demand. The facilities were excellent. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and the sunbathing area – pool could be slightly bigger but that’s a small niggle. The downstairs spa is amazing. Lovely pool and jacuzzi and steam room, shower experience, sauna and relaxation rooms.
It was very enjoyable. Rooms are spacious and modern and parking onsite was reasonable and welcome to be in an underground secure car park. Overall one of the best hotels we stayed in during our time in Croatia.

A solid 4 star hotel (good room design, good restaurants, good breakfast buffet, good gym, efficient reception staff) and a good ocean view from the correct side of the hotel and from the restaurant. Located on a hill about 3 km south of the city center. The walk to the city is an easy half hour, mostly along the coast. Taxi will cost about 10$ or less. The hill gives the sea view. The shore line is accessible via footpaths down the hill. The neighborhood is not enchanting, rather without character.
The beach is now, at off season, a little triste, and used mainly by the intrepid kite surfers, who have ideal wind conditions, plus dog walkers and joggers.
The hotel stuff is extremely friendly and professional. Great food. Great service. Room cleanliness perfect. Sleep quality too. Nice terrace and sea view.
Good location Pet friendly.
Warm recommendation.
Absolutely loved the atmosphere of this hotel. The swimming pool and pool bar were extremely refreshing in the summer sun. Very nice spa services. Pet-friendly. A wonderful get-away from the usual hustle and bustle of historic Old Town Split.

Decor and furnishings very modern and usable.
Breakfast very good…..it includes some local speciality fortified wines.
Rooftop bar is incredible….views unbelievable.
Hotel is pet friendly….they supply pet beds and all you need for your furry friend.
Great location, just outside the palace gates. Rooms are very nice; modern, beautiful. The bathroom is to die for in Europe; huge, full tub, etc. Flat screen TV (we did not use), mini fridge, hair dryer, in room coffee/tea.
There is a nice rooftop bar which allows for nice photos of the old city and the coastline, day or night; the often have live music. The hotel has a full spa and a fitness center, not typical for Croatia. The Restaurant serves a wonderful combination of continental and Croatian food.
The breakfast is to die for. I mean amazing. Normal European breakfast but a full complement of local Croatian delicacies, with explanations and even some recipe cards!
A variety of fresh, local fruit; beautiful fruit waters; espresso;tea/coffee/juice.
Also made to order crepes included with the room. It was really amazing. They also have a “pillow menu” so you can get exactly what you need to sleep well.
This includes aromatherapy pillows. The room AC works very well. Lots of electrical outlets for your gadgets. We love it here!!! they even have specialized pet service (we did not bring pets).
