Whistler is a town north of Vancouver, British Columbia, that’s home to Whistler Blackcomb, one of the largest ski resorts in North America. Besides skiing and snowboarding, the area offers snowshoeing, tobogganing and ski jumping at the Olympic Park, a venue for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Pet friendly, location was good for him he had room to run a little and play fetch. Being on the ground floor was extremely handy because we could easily take him out through the patio.
The location was good. Almost at the village. Quiet place and pet friendly too. The rooms were comfortable.
It had everything we wanted in our stay. Pool, hot tubs and close to the village. It was a 5-7 minute walk. Our room was huge and so clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. The room also has a fire place. You can buy a log at the front desk for $5. We were able to bring our dog and cat. There was an extra fee 40 per pet per stay. It was worth it. Even though they had protocols in place because of the virus we never felt inconvenienced and we felt safe.
Another thing we liked was how quiet and in the nature we felt even though we were so close to the village. I recommend staying here.
The location is an easy walk to Whistler Village, snow school and the gondolas, but the shuttle was greatly appreciated by those of us in ski boots although the service times are very limited. The location was also good as we were well away from any night time noise from the bars and restaurants.
We requested and were able to stay in a pet-free room, which was clean and warm, with a full kitchen and comfortable beds for all of us.
Our younger children were fine in the hallway bunks, but this could be tricky for taller tweens / teenagers.
Entertainment options were a limited range of tv stations, which was only an inconvenience because we had a couple of rainy nights where we decided to stay in rather than walk to and from the Village.

Featuring West Coast cuisine, Aura Restaurant and Cure Lounge offer fresh menu items. Ingredients are sourced daily from local farms, foragers, fisheries, and Nita Lake Lodge’s own rooftop garden. Homemade pastries, sandwiches and ice cream are offered at Fix Café.

Layout of the room was excellent. So big and cozy at the same time. Loved the little patio and window with shutters that opened between the bedroom and bathtub.

We spent a lot of time curled up in front of the fireplace and soaking in the luxurious tube (with the hotel’s own delightful bath bombs). We had everything we needed in our room for our romantic getaway.

The fact that this beautiful place is also pet friendly took the experience to the next level!

We really enjoyed our stay here and our pup did too. All the staff treated her well and greeted her. The hotel is along a trail network and also close to an off-leash dog park so walks are not a problem. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the restaurants within the hotel had great food. We basically just stayed in and enjoyed the quiet.

We hired a dog sitter from Whistler Dog Sitting to look after her in the hotel room as well so we could have dinner out.

Perfect place for your fur family, especially if you want to be out of the hustle and bustle of the village.

We stayed as a family of three and a small dog at Nita Lake lodge for a week.

From the first sight of this gorgeous hotel and lakefront setting, to the high quality meals at Cure Lounge and Aura, to the interactions with the friendly and courteous staff – everything has left a lasting and positive impression.

The shuttle to the village is a great service. Being able to use the hotel provided paddle boards, kayaks etc makes it easy to enjoy water activities on Nita Lake.

We will be back and highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful Whistler experience.

Location was awesome, right on the mountain! Property has everything you need!

The kitchens in the units are well supplied with what you need to make your stay fabulous.

The free shuttle is right out the front lobby. The hot tubs and pools were awesome to relax in. The hotel is dog friendly as well.

This is a great ski in\ski out location and is our number 1 choice of accommodation when coming to Whistler and we have stayed here a lot both in summer and winter.

The pool and hot tubs are great, the rooms are a good size and have a good kitchen, the staff are really friendly and also the property allows for pets so we can bring our dog!

The property is high up on the slope so to walk back to the property is a little strenuous however there is a free bus service that takes you right to the front door which comes regularly and so it makes it very easy.

This is a great place for kids and families.

It was the first time to stay at any resort with our dog and O such a great experience for us and our dog.

Our dog enjoyed playing with other dogs and the nice nature walks. This is the best place for any family with a pet. The location was excellent.

The swimming pool and hot tabs are very nice. The walk down the ski hill to the village is very convenient and nice work out going up the hill to the hotel.

We had a great holiday and can’t wait to return!
